I'm sure there was incompetence at play.  Hopefully it can be something of a teachable moment.

Speaking of teachable moments:  it would be nice if the Left would learn that "protesting" does not involve parking sideways in the middle of a street to obstruct ICE activities.  Unfortunately, during the 3 months of the Summer of Love we taught them that they could take over sections of cities with impunity (with which I'm sure you are quite familiar), so it might be a hard habit to break.

Here’s about 5 seconds of additional footage prior to the widely watched video at about 2:00, you can just see one additional car drive by so doesn’t give much more context.  Also shows a lot of the aftermath, including Greg Bovino being there.

@Maximum Overkill might enjoy the person being interviewed at 13:00, who said he/she lived around the corner.  Guessing this is some sort of lib neighborhood which may have been why ICE or CBP was there in the first place?

Who here is from the South? Fed in black walks up to a southerner’s car & put his hand on the handle a lot of things could go sideways. Point a gun in the window & other bad things could happen. If this is an Obama HHS agent in Ruston LA, no one is wringing hands asking golly what happened here. And if the agent got the draw the protest afterwards would look a ***lot different than what we’re seeing here. There’d be hell to pay.

The admin has more than doubled the number of ICE agents in less than a calendar year and encourages them to conduct business wearing masks like a goon squad. I get the sense they’re not much brighter or more qualified than your average retail store security guard.

ICE officers are trained to never approach a vehicle from the front and instead to approach in a “tactical L” 90-degree angle to prevent injury or cross-fire, a senior Department of Homeland Security official told NBC News.

Officers are also instructed not to shoot at a moving vehicle and only to use force if there is an immediate risk of serious injury or death, the official said.

ICE officers are also instructed that firing at a vehicle will not make it stop moving in the direction of the officer.

If you're willing to train and vet it doesn't really matter. Although for executive assistants, strip clubs were always the best place.  For the skills you can't teach.
