Least versatile condiment

Recommended Posts

Im going to start with cocktail sauce. In theory it's just ketchup (a highly versatile condiment) and horseradish ( a fairly versatile spice) but combined it proves useless except for chilled shrimp

What have you people?

What are you, my wife?

I laughed out loud, loudly.

Well done fine Sir.

Roll with tartar sauce.

It can only be used with fish. And even then, only fish cooked a certain way.

Some people like it with fries. They're weird though.

Still, it is vital for fish and chips

In England they eat fries with mayo, Amsterdam too. It's all messed up staggering around and seeing some dude get a giant cone of fries and pour mayo like its chocolate sauce on a sundae. Amsterdam is a crazy place.

Protip: don't tour the red light district during the day, they play the B team.

Def tartar sauce, the white one. Cocktail as well but the white is similar. I wouldn't put it on anything but seafood.

Oh no this is a big mistake. It adds a delicious tangy and salty flavor to damn near anything. Steak, burgers, fries, baked potato, pot pies, Mac n cheese, anything meaty or savory. This stuff is underrated.

Hollandaise is an honorable mention. If I didn't enjoy a good eggs Benedict it would get a harder look

Worcestershire sauce is vital for burgers and can be good with a steak. Haven't tried it with that other stuff though. How do you use it with fries? A baked potato?

Relish sucks imo, but it's probably fairly versatile if you're into it.

First thing that I thought of. Only because I hate relish.

Gentleman's relish, on the other hand... :ninja:

Mint jelly.

Winner. Its only purpose is with lamb and it sucks for that. Honorable mention to tartar sauce, which personally I hate more because I hate mayo, and adding relish (only decent with a hot dog) doesn't make it better. But I recognize that some people like mayo.

Pickles don't go well with anything other than a burger.

Not full kosher dills, just those sh1tty little sliced pickles.

Worthless.
