nzoner 936 Posted October 14, 2018 KC game tonight has the feel of a Chiefs play-off game I attended in '04 against the Colts, neither team punted and the final was 38-31 Colts. Good luck with Mahomes tonight shots, should be a fun one.
seafoam1 1,879 Posted October 14, 2018 I will be working 10 - 12 hours. Bears need to win this game to be taken seriously The line on the Bears game went up to Bears -5? That is steep. I think it was like -3.5 a couple days ago.

seafoam1 1,879 Posted October 14, 2018 I got them at - 3 Yeah, I was surprised at the -5. I try to stay away from betting the Bears this year. Maybe because I am a fan, and maybe cause I think they are still a work in progress. But they really are looking solid earlier than I thought they would. Getting Mack didn't hurt. Wish I could watch the game.
nzoner 936 Posted October 14, 2018 Yeah, I was surprised at the -5. Scores and Odds just went to -6,was thinking maybe Tannehill is a scratch but haven't seen any news yet, won't be touching that game now.

nzoner 936 Posted October 14, 2018 I know. Thanks. Can't wait. 11 hours until the kickoff. Same thing for us next Sunday,KC got flexed to SNF against Cincy,I could be wrong but I think that may be a first with the same team on SNF in back to back weeks. nzoner 936 Posted October 14, 2018 Scores and Odds just went to -6,was thinking maybe Tannehill is a scratch but haven't seen any news yet, won't be touching that game now. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Ryan Tannehill's (questionable, shoulder) availability for Week 6 against the Bears is "up in the air." Tannehill, who is reportedly dealing with a sprained AC joint, is looking like a true-game time decision. The Dolphins would pivot to Brock Osweiler at quarterback if Tannehill can't get the green light. Either way, Khalil Mack and the Bears' well-rested defense (they're coming off a bye in Week 5) should be licking its chops.

shotsup 832 Posted October 14, 2018 I was literally just looking on NFL dot com to see if Julio Jones has a TD yet this year. RedZone just said it. Solid receiving yards but Zero TDs thus far.

Cruzer 1,992 Posted October 15, 2018 I know there is quite a few Cowboy fans here - not trolling. Did Anyone tell the Jaguars there was a game today ? WTF happened. Apparently Jax just just mailed it in. No way in hell "this" is the real Cowboys team. 1st time, since Week 9, of LAST year - this offense has produced a 100 yard wr... I will give this defense props, they are legit - Vander Esch is legit - but don't be fooled, this team isn't January fit. All this win did was prolong the Garrett agony. I'm beginning to think you feel better when they lose. I know you hate Red, but man this is the best they've played in quite some time against a good team, that doesn't happen by chance. I'm highly satisfied with their efforts and feel they're starting to gel.

I know you hate Red, but man this is the best they've played in quite some time against a good team, that doesn't happen by chance. I'm highly satisfied with their efforts and feel they're starting to gel. I'm beginning to think Cowboys fans are only interested in occasional feel good wins, completely content with half ass 8-8 seasons... That may be fine and dandy in Detroit, but not here. We are the storied, 5 time SB winning Cowboys. We are one of 3 tied for most post season appearances ever (GB/NY) - and that's with being in a post season coma for the past 23 freaking years...... I'm interested in building championship teams and winning titles - not putting butts in seats and selling merchandise. There's a saying golf, you don't all of the sudden become a great putter after 40.. We've had 9 years of Red's regime - 9 years to see what he and this staff are. One upset win against Blake Bortles isn't nearly enuff to sway any of the past 9 years of incompetence... I'm happy for the kids who got this win - of course.. .But big picture, all this did was ensure misguided confidence in a staff and system that doesn't work in January/February. You must love watching all of the pregame warm-ups where Red is spending his time throwing footballs rather than, you know, coaching.
vuduchile 1,941 Posted October 15, 2018 Shocked to see the Cowboys win yesterday. Even more shocked that it was a blowout. I dont think anyone saw that coming. I still dont believe theyre a contender, so Im not over-excited.

I still dont believe theyre a contender, so Im not over-excited. I will admit, it was great to finally see this offense resemble a modern day unit... I've been begging to work underneath with crossing routes - only took Linehan 4 years to figure it out. Week 2 Dallas beat NY, in large part to getting Dak on the move. He moved the chains and ate up yards with something like 7 carries... Then the next week, as if Red/Linehan didn't watch the film - they had Dak run it all of 1 time in a loss.. We will see if they continue this strategy or if they go brain dead again and try to be something they are not.
