Can't recall anything specific but maybe some Covergirl product in Niki Taylor's heyday.

I was tough on shoes. Still am. I wore a brand called brooks mostly because they lasted. Anyways I saved up like 160 bucks as a freshman and got some reebok pumps. I was going to be able to ball with those on man. What I was is lucky someone didn't stab me for my shoes. And surprisingly they did not make me ball like a black kid. Plus they lasted about 3 months. Broke the pump. Which I didn't end up using much anyway because it kinda hurt. Like a blood pressure cuff for your feet.

WhenI was 15 years old, I remember I spent 5 dollars for a 12 inch single. It was 1985, so Sid had already been dead for 5 years. The A side of this single was aa guy almost nobody ever heard of named Ronnie Biggs ... singing "The Biggest Blow".

Never heard of it? No worries, it's not very good. But when the crazy basist did a Sinatra cover ... Oh, checkout dat B side.

Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle. :headbanger:

It had like a chain drive. You pulled a serated, plastic strip through it to rev up the motor?

Was the shiznit, back in the day.

And that's when they made plastic out of brand new chemicals, not this recycled crap. Zip pull was strong.

I never went out and bought something just because a celebrity endorsed it...

I recall the first material thing I ever asked for was this:

Don't focking ask me why. I think the kids at the roller skating park were all over the 1st track if I recall. My mah said she was going to go get it. I got home from school all stoked.. and she said she looked at it and said nope, she changed her mind. :(

Bobby Grich baseball glove.

Go Halos!

I used to be his local IT guy at Fidelity Title, when I first got out of college. Not sure if he still works there or not. He was a super nice guy.

Not sure I have wanted something because of a celeb, but I wanted those checkered vans after seeing fast times.

Mebbe not a celebrity to some of you, but a lot of the boards I bought back in the early 80 were because of the namesake on them.
