Where do you guys have Doug Martin Week 5 and out? Reports had him looking good in pre-season but it's hard to ignore last year.

Where would you put him relative to a guy like Cohen in a .5 ppr league?

Can't tell you right now until Martin actually play a game or two.

I know in Chicago there is Howard and Cohen company, and Cohen will get enough touch to be relevant with his performance.

In Tampa Bay, is there going to be only Martin? Martin and Sims? Martin, Sims and Roger?

Then there is how good he is this year. Are we getting the Martin from last year or last last year? For the none super elite running backs, they have hit and miss year.

We should re-visit in week 5 for sure tho.

Martin has been great every year that he's been healthy.

That's 2 out of 5 years... The odd is not in your favorite if that's the math you are looking at.

That's what we're looking at with every player we draft. Just ask the Olsen, D.Johnson, Meredith, and Edelman owners.

Ok...

Olsen: 9/10 healthy

D Johnson: 2/3 healthy

Meredith: 2/3 healthy

Edelman: 5/8 healthy

Out of all those people, I would say, yea Edelman you have to be little careful, he is freaking fearless in the middle.

Hey man, I am not here to argue with you. We will know in 2 weeks, you can say it in my face when you are right, I will be around.

I am not even voting until week 5, way too much unknown. Not like it matters anyway, unless someone is trading Cohen for Martin, vice verser.

I stopped trying to predict injuries a long time ago. Obviously, if Martin gets hurt after 2 games, then he's not going to be very valuable. Same goes for anyone else. I had a guy argue with me for two pages about how dumb I was for taking Gronk at the 2/3 turn in a 10-team league. And saying that he would never again draft such an injury-prone player. I argued that Gronk is basically a wide receiver one in value when he's healthy compared to other tight ends who are usually giving you wide receiver 3 points. He said he lets fools like me take drunk and he waits a couple rounds and grabs Olsen. A few days later, Olsen was done. Nobody is safe. You take the best players.

Fair point. Obviously I am bias for the rookies, and it's from my personal FF experience. Used to draft older running backs backs but realize the younger is almost always better.

Middle rb2 high Rb3 most weeks.

A quick stat I just read. "Howard and Cohen accounted for 88% of the Bears’ carries and receptions in the win over the Steelers."

Considering their decimated WRs and zero confident on Glennon. I believe that's the coach plan going forward for rest of the season.

I believe in Joystick. But I think Douglas is one of the best when he's healthy. It's close to me. In a pinch, I trust Joystick more since his path to weekly goodness is more clear. And don't kid yourself...Howard's shoulder is HURTING.

Doug is the new Fred Jackson. He can be a top 3 RB in fantasy for a month but you never know when something will befall him and end it abruptly. I took a shot on him in the 6th round in one league, but I'm not counting on it working out. If it does, it's showtime.

Yep, can't pick based on injuries. I like D Martin's chances, rb2 potential for sure.

I have Cohen and Martin. I'll be benching Marshawn for Martin when he comes back.

Similar situation here.

Lost DJ, but hit gold with Hunt.

Will be starting Martin & Hunt and flexing Cohen.

Players do play best when healthy.

Players only love you when they're playing

Say women they will come and they will go

When the rain washes you clean, you'll know.........you will know.

This guy's going to give me either depth or the flexibility to trade away a RB. Gonna be nice

This is how I view him. I'm either gonna score on my late pick and he'll be a more consistent higher upside Howard whom I have so I can trade Howard away or he'll be Howard-Esque himself. I'm doubting that just since he has such a better offense around him and no one to steal carries as quizz has clearly shown he's not the guy. I'm eagerly awaiting week 5 I'm as sure others are am dreading a bell like slow start or god forbid an injury like a hammy from not being up to speed.
