Rex Ryan already ruining the Bills

Recommended Posts

The Buffalo News reports free agent G Richie Incognito will sign with the Buffalo Bills.

ESPN reported Incognito would have a physical with the Bills on Saturday, but Tim Graham reports the physical is just a formality. Incognito had several workouts with guard-needy teams last season, but ended up sitting out all of 2014. He was suspended the second half of 2013 for his role in the Dolphins' Bullygate scandal. With Erik Pears an unrestricted free agent, Incognito has a decent shot to start in Buffalo. :shocking:

Great... First the new owner hires the most hot-headed head coach there is. Now, he stand by while Rex hires a bully who was so bad, he got suspended for half a season, and then cut.

(I won't even comment on the new Offensive Coordinator.)

Looks like I will not be following the Bills for the foreseeable future... :bandana:

Why doesn't Incognito deserve a second chance? My concern would be that he hasn't played in a year and a half

More support for Incognito being an a%%hole:

A self described “big kid” when he was in St. Louis, Incognito simply refused to grow up and do what was necessary to be a professional. Off the field, he liked to party and alcohol and drugs were part of his regular diet. On the field, he had little control of his temper.

In 44 games with the Rams, he racked up 38 penalties, including seven for unnecessary roughness, the most of any player during that timeframe.

In 2009, Incognito was named the NFL’s dirtiest player by the Sporting News, an “award” voted on by a panel of 99 players.

That whole situation was blown way out of proportion.

All I remember of Incognito as a player was his penchant for penalties in St. Louis. If he's over that a solid signing!

The truth won't likely ever come out, but it was Philbin that ordered the code red. Richie's a hot head and needs some maturity lessons but he's a team guy and will help solidify BUF's oline for next year. Buffalo RBs = up arrow.

As another said:

Rex Ryan wanted to "build a bully."

One just arrived on doorstep.

Preassembled.

Cognito needs a good welcome back to the League hazing..

Something involving gerbals and razorblades.

The Bills have been RUINED for years now due to cheap-azz ownership, a terrible city that good players dont want to come too, and lousy player decisions for years and years. Just like you cant polish a turd, you cant further make sh!t into more sh!t.

Sorry but being a Sabres fan...I KNOW how Buffalo sports goes. The eternal rebuild goes on FOR FOCKING EVER.

Incognito is a player's player. So long as that player is a player.

:first: for fitting 4 'players' in the smallest sentence

I tend to think their locale really hurts them, BUT... how were they good in the 90s then?

So it seemingly CAN be done

They have to pay a little more due to location and NY state income tax. No big deal. See Mario Williams.

It's about the QB which they haven't had for 15 years.

This. With a slightly above-average QB last year they at least are in the playoffs.

If they improve their QB they could go 10-6. But they're not getting by NE yet

I gotta admit, when I heard he called the guy 'Big Weirdo', I laughed. Great nickname.
