PunkRockRedneck 8 Posted October 9, 2017 The guy hasn't done anything all year but people still like him as a RB2. Why? The one good week he had was only because of a fluke 70 something yard td. I just don't see why so many people thing he's anything better than a flex. I'm looking at dropping him for Jones and hoping Ty is out a little longer lol. Seriously, what am I missing about Murray? brotherbock 349 Posted October 9, 2017 He calls his grandma regularly just to say hi.
polecatt 403 Posted October 9, 2017 He's been a top notch RB for several seasons now, People don't forget a good track record, especially with RBs, anyone with him used a 1st or 2nd round pick Maybe the end is here for him but it takes a while for it to set in
weepaws 2,460 Posted October 9, 2017 Agree with you polecatt. That's simply the reasons.
MDC 5,892 Posted October 9, 2017 He calls his grandma regularly just to say hi. He's also great in the sack
PunkRockRedneck 8 Posted October 10, 2017 well, long track record or not, he isn't doing much this season. Just looks like a wasted 2nd rd pick for me.
Ray_T 591 Posted October 10, 2017 well, long track record or not, he isn't doing much this season. Just looks like a wasted 2nd rd pick for me. It's hard to ignore the fact that he seems to be getting the majority of the touches in that backfield. and he's probably still got some lingering issues with that injury. until they actually start giving his understudy (henry) more work, you need to assume he will be the man. cbfalcon 824 Posted October 10, 2017 Still averaging 5 yards a carry. But the carry totals are 12, 9, 14, 7, and 14. Maybe they need to recommit to the run and start winning.
Skinny_Bastard 154 Posted October 10, 2017 Because he's proven to be a top RB in this league when given the carries.
seafoam1 1,879 Posted October 10, 2017 He was a DND for me this year. Whats the saying in FF? Give up on a player a year too early rather than a year too late.
mcgruber 17 Posted October 10, 2017 I'm not going to lie, he fell to me later in the 2nd than I expected so I drafted him despite my gut telling me to avoid him. I traded away that mess. He has not looked good all year. I mean he could produce if given melvin gordon volume, but he isn't.
PunkRockRedneck 8 Posted October 11, 2017 ya i wasted a mid-2nd round pick on him. Should have just listened to my gut and taken Gurley. 20/20 and all
Bills04 46 Posted October 11, 2017 D. Murray? Yeah, I took him in the second round. Followed up by CLE RB I. Crowell in the third round... :-(
rrmcguire 36 Posted October 11, 2017 Actually just trade Crowell and Tate for him My other backs are Kamara Tevin Coleman Collins McGuire Gallman Wrs are Antonio Hopkins and Doctson
TennisMenace 156 Posted October 11, 2017 Don't blame him for Tenn's woes. He is not running as much. Maybe he should. They desperately need their qb back but they also need 11 new guys to play defense.
Crystal Meth Tweekers 26 Posted October 11, 2017 It's too early in the season. His hammy was sore to start the year. He finally busted a long run and seems like he will only get better. Henry doesn't have any where near his vision, hands, and overall speed.
SAA 12 Posted October 11, 2017 I just traded away D Murray for A Cooper on Sunday (becomes official tomorrow). I am feeling some regret, but felt like I could overpay a little due to having pretty good depth at RB. Up to this point neither has done well. I guess we will see if this was a good trade for either or both of us.
