A federal district court wrongfully blocked President Donald Trump's administration from temporarily withholding billions of dollars in climate grants, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday. The District Court for Washington, D.C. granted an injunction blocking the Trump administration from withholding $16 billion in climate grants. Tuesday's ruling from the D.C. Circuit Court finds that the lower court overstepped its authority in doing so, and that Trump's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was acting in accordance with its role to provide "proper oversight" of how funds are distributed. "We conclude the district court abused its discretion in issuing the injunction. The grantees are not likely to succeed on the merits because their claims are essentially contractual, and therefore jurisdiction lies exclusively in the Court of Federal Claims," Judge Neomi Rao wrote in the court's opinion. I am going to take my friend @squistion‘s advice and start a new one of these for each person I regard as a hero. Good idea. Today’s hero is Marjorie Taylor Greene. I am not a fan. I think she is extremist, mostly crazy, and probably an anti-Semite. But she has chosen to defy Trump today by appearing at the rally of Epstein victims who are demanding the Justice Departmsnt release all its files to the public: https://www.thedailybeast.com/dem-reveals-trump-ally-is-joining-bombshell-epstein-victims-event-at-the-capitol/ She is also right about aid to the Palestinians: https://thehill.com/opinion/international/5478054-marjorie-taylor-greene-is-right-about-gaza/amp/ So, for now, she is behaving like a hero.

Wait...Ron is against blowing up terrorists? Oh yeah, they want the US to be destroyed as much as he does, so I guess that makes some sense.

He's also somehow capable of reading more than three lines of text contradictory to his position, understanding what was said, and formulating a response, as opposed to those that can't and simply respond tl;dr. What would you mooks do with your time if not for the Tims? Verbally wash each other's balls and argue over who would be more willing to carry Trump's love child if men could actually get pregnant?

At the very least a portion of the island would be a good place to send loudmouths to get their minds right . Just look here , sending tim, lil squissy or gutter etc there for even 3 months to deprogram would do wonders for their sanity and quality of life .

I’m excited for all the liberal governors and mayors to continue to be resistant to Trump trying to make their cities safer. I’ll never understand why they blatantly show that they hate their voters, yet their voters continue to vote for them.

I'm talking billions collectively. The power 5 conferences all have tv contracts making them 50-70 mil per school annually or something like that. NFL is different. The players get paid based on a negotiated revenue share which established the salary cap. In college, the stars are probably underpaid in terms of percentage of revenue they generate for their school. For example, this QB is getting 14.5M not even coming from revenue. maybe the whole michigan team is getting what? $70M. The program between ticket sales, tv contracts, merchandise, etc, probably pulling in $200M. So the players should probably be making $100M total if we're comparing to NFL. And I get the whole fan distaste. But that's the evilness of the NCAA and university hitting you. They'd have you believe that the players should play for the love of the game and education while they take in massive amounts of money. Pure sociopathic BS because they sure as shìt ain't fielding these teams and charging reasonable amounts all for the betterment of the student athletes.

The NCAA and universities make billions off these kids talents. Of course, they should get a piece of the pie too. Sad thing is that they somehow found a way to not take it out of NCAA and university profit. They just added donors to the equation to insert more money.

https://x.com/ddale8/status/1961416936878661980 President Trump is, as always, telling the same debunked lies over and over again. Here are 10 he repeated in the past week alone: https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/29/politics/fact-check-trump-ukraine-inflation
