Care to share any of it? I'd love to read some.

I bought Greedo's book a while back, haven't gotten around to reading it.

Actually got an autographed copy.

Here is part of one review. Why does this not surprise me in the least coming from a geek :pointstosky:

For fans of the DragonLance series of books, you'll find this world to be very inspired by the DragonLance setting. It's very violent, magic is very prevalent, and it is definitely a Dungeons and Dragons novel even if it doesn't carry an official endorsement from Wizards of the Coast.

Greedo is good people, he lives here in Phoenix and I've met him at both of his booksignings. Brought my wife to the second one, if I recall she was wearing a tight shirt which showed off her greta rack, I hope he enjoyed the view. :music_guitarred:

Also after his first book I suggested he add maps, which he did. So I'm waiting for a dedication in his next book. Just not to my wife's breasteses. :nono:

I never really noticed greedo on here much but i took a look at some of his postings and they are pretty damn rational and without the usual nastiness of most posters. Sometimes solid non-controversial posters get lost in the sea of vitriol.

He's a wacko lib who also irrationally defends the bank bailouts, actually I guess it is rational since he is a banker. I look past that, because that is how I roll. :music_guitarred:

Open your mind a little, bud. Not every lib is a whacko. Nor is every conservative.

You are not very good at following logic. I said he is a wacko lib, not that every lib is a wacko. Insecure much? :music_guitarred:

Admittedly, I don't know any libs who are not also wacko. But as an Ayn Rand loving objectivist, I believe that the proper moral purpose of one's life is the pursuit of one's own happiness or rational self-interest. :dunno:

Standing on a street corner with a cardboard sign is a bum, not a "fundraiser"

HTH

It's all about marketing and branding. Fundraiser looks A LOT better on a resume! There finally #4.

The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

Really?

How much of the crazy Mexican drug cartel violence spills across the border? Or do those a$$holes keep it mostly contained on their side?

Between our large presence on the border, EPPD being a top notch organization, and the cartels not wanting us to mobilize the border with Army and Marines they haven't spilled across too much. There are kidnappings and most stolen vehicles here wind up in Juarez but compared to Juarez being the 2nd deadliest city in the world (Behind Mogadishu) El Paso remains in the top 5 safest major cities.

I dunno, there are people who follow her like a religion, and despite my posts here I'm not one of them. That being said, it is possible she would say one or more of the following:

1. A one-off disaster is different than a policy of liberal socialism.

2. People donate to disasters like Haiti because it makes them feel good to do so.

3. Haiti is a shiothole, the people have done nothing to make their lives better, why should we reward them for living in huts?
