Rep. Giffords of Arizona shot, Federal Judge Roll dead

Recommended Posts

She'll run for the nomination and it will be hilarious watching the other candidates tiptoe around criticizing her for fear of pissing the teabagger crazies off.

Pelosi went to the floor of the House today and called the AZ shooting "A tragic accident".

What does that have to do with Palin running for the GOP ticket in 2012?

Has Palin announced?

Just pointing out you are getting your panties in a twist over a private citizen when your party has had the moron Pelosi 3rd in line for the Presidency for 4 years.

Nice job.

what does palin or her running have to do with this thread ?

It's amazing how scared the left is of her....so much so they need to insert her into their every political thought.

That's true, I'm terrified of Palin. You should nominate her - she's a lock. People love her down home charm.

I don't hate Palin, I fear her because she's a lock to win the presidency in 2012 if the GOP is smart enough to nominate her.

Really? Even someone like you believes this? I don't think she'd have a chance. I sure as hell wouldn't vote for her. I'd have to toss my vote to the Libertarian candidate for the 2nd election in a row.

I'm no Palin fan perse, but...ummmm....you're some random dude that rents a room and posts on a message board all day. Sarah Palin rose from nothing to be Govener of a State and now makes millions of dollars at speaking engagements.

If she is dumb, what does that make us? Just Sayin. :dunno:

I have personally met her. She is focking retarded. Like if she were some regular woman you randomly met at a bar, you would think to yourself "this ch!ck is focking DUMB...but kinda hot  "

Then her drunken d0uchenozzle of a boyfriend named Todd would come over and start getting in your face because he thought you were looking at her too much.

Just checking in, have the people who jumped to conclusions apologized yet?

I'll admit I was wrong. I just watched President Obama's speech and I think he got it right. This isn't a time to point fingers or up the angry rhetoric even more, it's a time to reflect on where we are as a nation and try to move forward without being divisive. Palin's actions, while reckless, had nothing to do with this shooting.

On another occasion, Mr. Loughner told a biology teacher that it did not matter what he put down on his test because the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the First Amendment enabled him to write whatever he wanted.

As for his remark that he did not have to go along with his instructor’s view that the number 6 was actually the number 6, a counselor, Delisa Sidall, wrote: “I reminded him that a complaint was made that he was disruptive in class and he said, ‘I was not disruptive, I was only asking questions that related to math.’

“I asked him to tell me the question he asked? He said, ‘My instructor said he called a number 6 and I said I call it 18.’ He also asked the instructor to explain, ‘How can you deny math instead of accept it?’ ”

This guy demonstrates a remarkable talent to make sense out of what was going on but unfortunately for him, he missed his opportunity to serve as either Attorney General or budget director in the Bush administration.

I must admit that I thought Obama made a helluv a speech. It was moving and seemed sincere. I thought he brought up the whole "media debate" stuff a little too much (even though he was essentially calling out his own party a little too). The President should really be above any talking points from the media pundits. It's one thing I don't like about Obama is that it appears he "watches the tabloids" to much for a President. Sort of like a Head Coach that listens to the sports talk radio instead of focusing on his team. They should be above that.

However beyond that, I thought he was great last night.

Joe Biden, was at an AFL-CIO rally when he told union members: "You are the only folks keeping the barbarians from the gates...the other side has declared war on labour's house."

It is time to boycott Union products when ever possible, that will be the start of the war.

If this shooting was politically motivated, there will be A LOT of fallout from it. The Republicans have spent the last two years whipping their half-crazy base into a murderous frenzy. Would it be any surprise that this was a result of that?

Apparently the police think there was more than one person involved. They are looking for other suspects. It's looking like a loony right-wing terrorist attack to me.

DAyum I love it when Worms jumps to conclusions and exposes his idiocy.

didn't take long for my pal Krugman to blame Limbaugh, Beck and Palin for inspiring this kid.

"We don’t have proof yet that this was political, but the odds are that it was."

Good ol Kruggy.

True. The stuff about dream currency is very bizarre. What I find interesting is that others might have been involved. Maybe we are looking at some kind of nutty militia group or something.

Rare form in this thread.

and the sad thing is recliner, that she is someone who is a strong democrat who has criticized obama. she said that blacks are so in love with obama that they can't see his flaws. btw, the tea party is scary and offensive.

Very interesting, especially the differences. One was just some loon having nothing to do with politics.

The other completely politically motivated and committed by some scumbag liberal socialist loon.
