Hey retard - turnovers happen because some defenses apply pressure on QBs, have DBs that can int or cause fumbles etc. Charles Tillman has caused 25 fumbles in his career. That is not luck... it is skill. Brian Urlacher made the defensive play of the week with his int. The fumbled return for a TD happened because Julius Peppers (a HOF DE) sacked Ryan causing the fumble. Ryan was sacked 5 times and hit 7 more times in the game. He was harassed all day because there is talent on the Bears D...not because it is just pure luck. I know you are frankly too retarded to understand any of that. I do not blame you, your cesspool of a franchise plays zero defense. That is why they get spanked every week. Enjoy the shiattiest team in the shiattiest division in all of sports.

I hope that didn't include me. I respect them as a playoff contender. I just haven't heard much chatter about them since their dramatic overpaying trade for Julio Jones. The Eagles, Packers, and Lions are the NFC teams that have gotten a lot of preseason attention as far as I can tell.

I think the Bears have an excellent chance of finishing in last place in their division this year. When your defense is giving up yards by the acres, they won't get enough turnovers to offset the damage. Turnovers are mostly random. While it is true that some teams can get lucky and stay +10 turnover or more for an entire season, over a period of weeks, and sometimes years, turnovers tend to average out. And when you have a wussy turnover machine like Jay Cutler at QB, well, that is sure hurt the balance.

Also, I love how some fantasy sites are touting the 49ers D as something to be scared of. The @ssholes at ESPN are projecting Felix Jones for 7 points, and even went so far as to compare San Fran's D to the Jets. I can't wait to hear how rejuvenated Pittsburgh is after this week too.

The percentage and totals looked ok but for the first 3 quarters all of his passes were to the RB and most of them behind the line of scrimmage. He showed life in the late 3rd and 4th with a couple decent drives.

 

The O-line is still brutal, although the 49ers defense is pretty good too. For most of the day the 49ers were beating the snap into the backfield it was painful to watch.

Of course I watched the game. Again, it was not a hit and fumble I understand. But there was pressure from Peppers. Peppers beat his man 1:1....that is a skill that led to Ryan not setting his feet and fumbling the ball when he touched the ball to the ground. The Bears DL applied pressure all day on Ryan. That is not luck. That is turnovers thanks to skill. Some teams have it....most do not.

Thanks for proving my point that he was escaping pressure. Fumbles do not just happen. They happen when you hit the QB a lot of times and pressure him all game, including the play in question. Ryan saw Peppers coming at him clean and he had to turn....lost control of the ball while trying to do that. That is not luck. You need a player who can cause that to happen.
