TD Ryan2 316 Posted May 4, 2015 So... who is this whole story about? I didn't read past book 1... Early on it was about Ned Stark... and the Starks in general. then it became about the Lannisters Then it became about the Wall/North/White Walkers/Winter-is-coming then it became about Daenerys. but it was also kinda' about Peter Baelish b/c he was the mastermind behind everything... When this is all said and done, who's story are they telling?

TD Ryan2 316 Posted May 4, 2015 A Song of Ice and Fire. Ice = Jon Fire = Dany ?????????? not sure how Bran fits into that interpretation. OhandAlso - the Red Woman, I don't count her as "Fire" - I'm not even sure I truly buy her "powers" the way I do Dany's or Bran's. Red Lady is a charlatan, it's all done with t!ts & mirrors. edjr 6,606 Posted May 4, 2015 The 1st season of GOT was just so incredibly great, greatest 1st season of a TV show ever (for me) seasons 2 thru 4 were good too. This one has really been a dog and they are starting to lose me.
TD Ryan2 316 Posted May 4, 2015 This one has really been a dog and they are starting to lose me. by GoT standards, yes, this is the weakest season yet... Still better than anything else out there and I look forward to Sunday nights for it.

Yeah, I'm not sure how Bran fits either. One thing about Bran is that his Greenseer ability will let him see past events, maybe that no one else even knows about. I think that could be big. I also think Tyrion has to prominently involved in the end-game as well.

edjr 6,606 Posted May 4, 2015 Absolutely. Jon's a ginger magnet. Did you hear, Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) was complaining that he is tired of being seen as a sex symbol and only wants to be known for his acting. What a turd. Hey dinkus, if you looked like me you'd be fixing computers in a dark room somewhere and only let out 30 minutes of the day. Shut the fock up.

edjr 6,606 Posted May 4, 2015 The very 1st episode of GOT, very 1st scene. We got to see quite possibly the most awesome things in a television show. The White Walkers. We are now what, 45 episodes in and we have seen them what? in 3, maybe 4 episodes? The end of season 3 had me really thinking this show would get really fun. We've had all kinds of fun things in this show. Dragons, white walkers, pus5y wraiths. The entire show now is about all the people and nothing fun!

Melisandre (red lady) worships the same God as Thanos of Myr. And we've seen that his powers are real- resurrecting Beric Dondarrion on several occasions. Have no doubt that her powers are real. Possible small spoiler: I vaguely recall there being a mention that magic had been dormant for a long time. But when the Red Comet appeared in the sky, that changed, and it has been growing more powerful ever since. I can't remember if this has been mentioned or not on the show. WhiteWonder 2,757 Posted May 5, 2015 I think this past episode (4) was a very good one and brought the season back on track. I have never read the books and don't plan to. Had I been reading them before the show or maybe gotten started on them early on, I might have read them but at this point I would rather just view GoT as a show. fock the old dude and his unfinished books. Being that i've never read the books and don't know how far the stories go, I have had a theory for about 2.5 seasons now that goes something like this.... I believe Jon Snow has Targaryn blood and is related to Danny. I think Ned starks sister had a kid after being kidnapped and raped by Rhaegar Targaryn and after the rebellion, she had Ned protect the kid by claiming him to be his bastard son.How that would play out in the end, im not sure. Danny used to be a favorite character of mine but shes become annoying since taking over the slave cities. Also Im sorry if this has already been discussed and is a moon landing. I have not been in this thread for a long time. =

Magnificent Bastard 191 Posted May 5, 2015 Why is the prostitute in Mereen siding with the sons of the harpy? It seems some of the people who have been liberated are not happy, or has she just simply been bought off? Perhaps business is down because the unsullied have no junk? phillybear 366 Posted May 5, 2015 5.04 Sons of the Harpy The Lannisters are broke d!ck. Cersei sends Mace Tyrell along with Meryn Trant to Braavos. This is significant since Arya has been chanting Trant’s name over and over again because she wants to kill him. I think I see where this is headed. Cersei creates an alliance with the High Sparrow and arms them in an effort to get back at Margaery. The Sparrows arrest Margaery's ‘mo brother for shenanigans. This alliance is completely idiotic since Cersei has been focking her brother and creating kids with him, including the king. Even worse, she also focked another member of the family who is currently a Sparrow that can provide first hand testimony against Cersei’s tomfoolery. Even the street crowds call Tommen an abomination. I don’t see how this doesn’t backfire on Queen Eyebrows. Baelish is supposedly headed back to Kings Landing where his brothels are being pillaged every 5 minutes. Tommen proves to be a pussie when confronting the Sparrows in person and not being able to free Loras. Melisandre tried to seduce Jon Snow, but Snow took a look at her nekkidness, and said nope. Maybe the Sparrows should be locking up this guy too for being a 'mo. Indeed, you know nothing Jon Snow. It’s just odd. Jon Snow is a horrible character, so eye watering boring. Yet, all these people gravitate around him. The Starks, the Wall, the Wildings, Mance, Stannis, Melisandre. I get the feeling he won’t be killed off for a very long time, if at all. The obvious plot device here is that Snow and Stannis are practically buddies now, but down the road will oppose one another for the throne. Stannis gave a rousing speech to his daughter about her backstory, then stands there while his lizard daughter hugs him, and he doesn’t hug her back for at least 3 minutes. The writers went to great expense to painfully explain Baelish’s plans to the audience because they don’t want the dummies watching this stuff to be lost. They also tossed in a sh!tload of history lessons as apparently they must be getting ready to drop some truth bombs in upcoming episodes where family lineage will matter. It's just way too much stuff to remember. It might be easier if that fat fock Martin didn't give everybody a weird name with weird spellings. Baelish is hedging all his bets, to visit King’s Landing even though the Lannisters are weak now, with the Boltons though Sansa’s marriage, and if that weasel was really clever, he’d meet up with Stannis before his army reaches Winterfell and cut a deal of some sort. Jaime and Bronn reach Dorne, where the land is sandy and full of snakes, and there are absolutely no sharks. Bronn keeps trying to get Jaime to admit he focked his sister, but he can’t do it. They kill Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, and Tully Blachard. Jaime speaks softly but carries an iron fist. Another question is, does he eat and wipe his ass with the same hand. And if he doesn't, my God, the hemorroids. Much to my horror, the Kardashians have been added to the cast. There is a guy buried up to the neck in the sand. No doubt it’s a suicide attempt to avoid listening to the clucking hens anymore, but he should have tried is upside down since his ears are still exposed. Hey, the one with the spear, Khloe. Did you know Survivorman just finished filming 6 episodes of Les Stroud searching for you in the Pacific Northwest. Yeah, these Spice Girls are really something. While Jaime is trying to avoid starting a war to rescue his daughter, these dames are trying to sabotage him in order to start a war where a fockload of people will die. Well, I do enjoy the battle scenes. Jorah is piloting a fishing boat for a trip halfway around the world, which is like using a skateboard to travel across Russia. Tyrion guesses his plan, mocks him, and gets pimp slapped. Barristan tries to entertain the Dumb Fock of Dragons about her family, much to her disinterest. The Sons of the Harpy ambush a unit of Unsullied including Greyworm and eventually Barristan, and everybody dies. I am completely underwhelmed by the fighting skills of the Unsullied save, for Greyworm, soon to be eaten by worms. I am on the Harpy’s side, and I’m not talking about the no longer naked blond. Let’s kill some dragons.
