PATSSOX 22 Posted August 18, 2012 OK with all the talk about Chris Johnson, AP coming off PUP, Mathews injury, MJD's holdout, and if or when you should take one of the TE's what do your draft boards look like today? For this little exercise do your top 12 players in order you would pick them in standard scoring league. #1-McCoy #2-Foster #3-Rice #4-Rodgers #5-Chris Johnson #6-Brady #7-Calvin Johnson #8-McFadden #9-Forte #10-MJD #11-Brees #12-AP Probably stupid but as of today he my man at #
timozbuck 4 Posted August 18, 2012 1. Rice 2. Foster 3. McCoy 4. Rodgers 5. Brady 6. Calvin Johnson 7. Brees 8. McFadden 9. Chris Johnson 10. Murray 11. Graham 12. Forte MJD holdout has him out of my first round for sure. He has a lot of strikes against him at this point. High mileage, missed training camp, plus Jennings has looked very good in his absence. MJD welcome to my DND list.
Pogs23 6 Posted August 18, 2012 1. Foster 2. Rice 3. McCoy 4. Rodgers 5. Chris Johnson 6. Calvin Johnson 7. Brady 8. Brees 9. Stafford 10. Mcfadden 11. Forte 12. MJD MJD will fall out of the 1st and probably till late 2nd/early 3rd if he holds out much longer. Some one like J. Jones or Murray would probably take his spot. PATSSOX 22 Posted August 18, 2012 Before the hold out id probably had MJD at #4 or #5 but still can't drop him out of first round yet for me. Man he would be one hell of a deal in the 2nd round. Same thing with Mathews.

Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted August 18, 2012 We all knew staffords potential with calvin but after he hooked up with him as usual all of a sudden he is getting first round props? A week ago very few would have put him there. Also nelsons adp shot up after a td catch. He had 15 last year during the regular season but after a pre season td he is suddenly more valuable? Anyway what is the point of this thread? Are we saying who we think the first round should be? Or are we saying what the first round will be?

throttlers 0 Posted August 18, 2012 I don't know what "standard scoring league" means any more. Almost all my leagues call their scoring "standard", but they all have some scoring differences. My first round list looks slightly different for every league.
PATSSOX 22 Posted August 18, 2012 Anyway what is the point of this thread? Are we saying who we think the first round should be? Or are we saying what the first round will be? Just wanted to see how different people would draft today and what order they would choose guys knowing what we know today. Who you would draft 1st then who you would draft 2nd and so on. Its very different than just 2 weeks ago.

My first round list looks slightly different for every league. Your right. My definition of "standard" is 6 pts for all TDs, 1 pt per 10 yards, and 1 pt per 25 yards passing. JKAP21 0 Posted August 19, 2012 "Standard Scoring"... which for my league means 4pts passing TDS, 6pts rushing/receiving, 1pt/25 yds passing, 1pt/10yds rushing/receiving 1. Foster 2. Mccoy 3. Rice 4. Rogers 5. Chris Johnson 6. Brady 7. Calvin Johnson 8. Brees 9. Forte 10. Murray 11. Graham 12. Gronkowski Honorable mention: Mcfadden, Richardson, MJD, Ryan Mathews, Charles, Stafford, Peterson, Julio Jones I've never seen so many high risk/reward-type players in Rounds 1/2.
