gcmmidwest 151 Posted October 1, 2012 Rb's Jackie Battle - still a handcuff with some Td vulturing Brandon Boldin - had a nice game this week could be a roll the dice bye week fill in? William Powell -Ryan Williams does not impress me & don't think he can hold up..,nice hold for a week or two Kevin Smith- Gonna add him because i think he's to good to be a rb4 something fishy is going on they may trade him or i duhno Leshoure didn't do squat ..,how long do the fans put up with this?Edit now that i think about ..,i don't think Minn. has given up a rushing td this season Wr's Hixon- is now healthy & getting work ..,pending Headache Nicks return Hartline-getting his 48 targets in 4 weeks (19 in week 4) James Jones - Gb is coming around Blackmon-? Roberts 3 td's on season already ..,think he benefiting from Fitz getting all the attention

jrbdmb 28 Posted October 1, 2012 Fool's gold. And they won't play the Saints atrocious secondary every week. The week I needed something out of Jones he did squat. Just like Meachem and Henderson on the Saints - big games on your bench, nothing when in your lineup.
KenboSlice925 0 Posted October 1, 2012 Clearly hartline is the number 1. After that though should i go for Andre Roberts, James jones, denarius Moore, or davone bess?
Eddie Kennison 12 Posted October 1, 2012 Clearly hartline is the number 1. After that though should i go for Andre Roberts, James jones, denarius Moore, or davone bess? EASY decision. Denarius Moore is way better than the other options there. I agree that James Jones is fool's gold.
cheesesteaks 0 Posted October 1, 2012 I think Jerome Simpson is worth a roster spot if you need help at WR. He will get enough targets and might be very good in some games.

We Tigers 71 Posted October 2, 2012 I think Jerome Simpson is worth a roster spot if you need help at WR. He will get enough targets and might be very good in some games. Agree. 4/50 in a game with very little passing bodes well. Roberts could be good too, though everything in Arizona still seems weird. They're a very lucky team through the first four weeks, and the bottom feels like it could drop out at any time. Hixon may be the best 1-week filler on the list. Could have another very big game against the Browns if Nicks is out, though not a guarantee given Bennett and Barden.
Skinny_Bastard 159 Posted October 2, 2012 Hartline is the obvious #1 waiver pick based on target and performance. Probably won't be a top priority but Powell is starting to look real interesting. Williams did not impress this past weekend. Let's see if Williams can get into gear, but if he puts up another stinker you have to think Powell will get a chance. I would avoid James Jones. We've seen this story many times before. Hixon might be a different story. Giant's WR on waivers have a history of being SOLID.
steelers2101 7 Posted October 2, 2012 Do you use #1 waiver on Hartline? It's between him and Bolden for me with my #1 waiver. Not sure if Bolden will keep it up with the games Belichick likes to play. My team could use an RB more but Hartline's targets are hard to ignore.
PewterFanatic 0 Posted October 2, 2012 Not sure how you could draw conclusions from Ryan William's performance from this past weekend. They hardly ran the ball till the end of the game and Miami has a very tough run D. Powell got 2 carries. How can you be intrigued by that? Let's see what Williams does against the rams D this Thursday night.

Let's see what Williams does against the rams D this Thursday night. 44 carries for 131 yards this season. That's 3.0 per carry. Take away that 1 25 yard run against the philly and it's 2.5 yards per carry on 43 carries. With Beanie out of the picture and Powell now the number 2, i think this is a situation worth looking into. Williams need to get going against the RAMS this week.

GobbleDog 1,010 Posted October 2, 2012 I have Ryan Mathews and I have the #1 waiver. I was going to use it on Jackie Battle, but after looking at his career and recent game stats... I think I'm going to let him waste space on someone else's roster.
Busted by the Feds 9 Posted October 2, 2012 How about QB's for the bye weeks coming up. I have the # 1 waiver pick. Is it worth spending on Dalton ? Stafford is going on bye, and I might start Dalton for the foreseeable future anyway . I didn't draft a second QB, btw . Much preferred to load up on RB and WR . The other free agents out there are Ponder, Alex Smith, Bradford, Freeman, Tannehill, Weeden, etc. yuck .

Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 2, 2012 Fool's gold. And they won't play the Saints atrocious secondary every week. Like the other names on your waiver wire are locks? With Jennings out with his groin issues, Jones is just as good a bet as any other receiver in the NFL right now.

He looked very good but like you said who knows what Belichick will do week to week. Plus he and Ridley put up alot of those #s after the Bills had basically packed it in for the week. aci150 0 Posted October 3, 2012 With the jets losing Hill & possibly Holmes for the season Chaz Schillenz is looking pretty good to me...,i keep thinking of Barden's breakout game as a jets fan Id say the pecking order will be (once healthy) keller, kerley, then a fantasy (and football nightmare) or chaz, hill, clyde gates and whoever else they may trot out. that may include jordan white, eron riley or someone else even. The only ones worthwhile unless sanchez becomes a different person would keller and possibly kerley only in ppr. the jets will fall behind and throw a bit. kerley can do well with short passes across the middle for 5-8 a game possibly. Laurence Maroney's Nuts 2 Posted October 3, 2012 For anyone digging deep - maybe TJ Graham in Buffalo --> had more snaps and targets than Donald Jones last week; went unnoticed with Jones' long TD grab. deefree93 0 Posted October 3, 2012 Does Hill have any fantasy value at all? Or was week one the last we'll hear from him? Could easily have value at some point, but not right now. Dude has talent and it looks like Teebow will get a shot eventually. Him and DT (many similaraties to hill) worked out pretty good last yr, and I could see something similar, albeit on a smaller scale.

It is worth noting that the Cardinals haven't faced a team out of the top 15 in rushing D yet. I expect to see a very different Williams against a porous Rams' rushing D. I would argue that none of the AZ RB's are worth owning if they don't do anything tomorrow night.
Matt Mueller 148 Posted October 3, 2012 Hartline is getting all the attention but Davone Bess might be worth a look in .5 or PPR leagues. 5-86 and 7-123 past 2 weeks.
southcarolina 166 Posted October 3, 2012 Hartline is getting all the attention but Davone Bess might be worth a look in .5 or PPR leagues. 5-86 and 7-123 past 2 weeks. Not a bad second option, but Hartline is clearly the get here. Third in the NFL in targets with 49. Bess is no slouch, clocking in at 23rd with 32 targets. Hartline also leads his teammate in Redzone targets 7 to 2, so hopefully Hartline will start getting some TD love too What i want to know, is Ryan Tannehill worth a roster spot. He has a couple of tough matchups left (@ NYJest week 8 and @ SF week 14) but other than that nothing too daunting, plus still has 2 games vs Buffalo and 2 games vs NE left, including week 15 at home vs Jaxonville, week 16 at home vs Buffalo and week 17 on the road vs New England. Thats a pretty nice playoff schedule. And while we are talking about targets and PPR leagues: Joique Bell RB Detroit has the 8th most targets amongst all RB in the NFL, and is averaging nearly 10 pts a game in PPR formats.
