Live NFL Draft Feed again this year.

Recommended Posts

I'll be providing live to semi-live coverage again this year, of the ongoings, rumors and festivities from the NFL Draft 2013. I will be working side by side with ESPN, but offering expanded opinions and views on what they are presenting. So feel free to keep this thread open while you are watching the draft on your television set. Those that followed this thread last year, enjoyed this privilege of getting a hot tip on Doug Martin, and may have won their league.

So, stay tuned folks.

NFL Network.

I've boycotted the ESPN coverage since they started pulling the "you may be surprised by this pick..." BS a few years ago.

Well...uhh...okay. Explain.

I get the results of the draft online after it is done... I spend five minutes seeing what happened where you wasted away 10+ hours...

Well of course. You could do the same thing with the SB, the marathon bombings, the war in iraq, your kids graduation, your buddy's bachelor party, American Idol, etc. The list goes on.

And its not like you can't do "other" things while watching the draft.

Not watching the draft is one of them...

 Our FF league used to have a NFL draft party when the draft was on Saturdays. I haven't watched since they moved the start to Thursday.

Okay folks. Here we are. Sorry for the delay. I thought the draft started on Friday.

Okay. Just catching up here. The Chiefs look like they are going to hang onto that number one spot, and with the #1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, The Kansas City Chiefs select Eric Fisher, a big OT from Central Michigan.

How about the Bills taking EJ Manuel. Terrible pick. If I'm a Bills fan, I gotta be disgusted. Sick to my stomach.

And from what I'm seeing, the 2013 Draft will be better known years from now as the "Big" Draft, as a lot of the players taken in the first round were what seem to be very big. I'm trying to get another member of the production team to dig up some stats on the overall poundage of the first round from the past 20 years.

I didn't realize Tavon Austin was 5'8" tall. That doesn't bode well for him. I have to wonder if the Rams knew how little he actually is and if they could do it over, would they still take him.

I'm currently trying to get the results of the 2nd round. I'll be back.

Okay folks... It looks as though they are going not draft round 2 until tomorrow.

I will be at a sporting event from noon until later tomorrow night, so tomorrows coverage could be somewhat sparse in content until I arrive back at my desk. If you need to get results of round 2 sooner than that, feel free to sporadically check sister sites who will also be providing full draft coverage.

With round 2 not starting until tomorrow, it gives me time to go a bit more in depth with what happened in round 1.

Scary thought if your a Cowboys fan. Here is a headline from a competitors site:

"New Cowboy Travis Frederick looked awful in workouts but plays well" Have you seen the fella? Does he look like he'll instill fear into opposing LB's or Nose Tackles?

He looks like he just got caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar.

Tavon Austin being so short pretty much debunks your theory of this being seen as "the "Big" draft".

Only a couple skill positions taken in the first round. For those of you looking to strike the gold in 2014, or who are in a keeper league, lookout for this fella:

DeAndre Hopkins.

This is the biggest phail since phail was spelled fail. The big draft insider didn't even know WHEN the draft started.
