Frozenbeernuts 1,653 Posted November 25, 2013 Why did they give him 37 carries? He is a very solid rb, but a rb that has an extensive injury history.

Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted November 25, 2013 My opponent this week has him. Dear baby Jesus.........please let Moreno sit out this week to fully heal for the rest of the season.
heavy-set 39 Posted November 25, 2013 montee ball owners i hope the best for Knowshawn, but can they rest him till the playoffs?
ShooterMcGavin 3 Posted November 25, 2013 Monte Ball?!?!
Ramrock 13 Posted November 25, 2013 The monte Ball replacement is stupid ,he has three fumbles on the season, I'm picking up Hillman. Should be well rested
the spanker 28 Posted November 25, 2013 Hmmm Hillman. Almost forgot about him...is it possible he'll get another shot?
tplbge 2 Posted November 25, 2013 The monte Ball replacement is stupid ,he has three fumbles on the season, I'm picking up Hillman. Should be well rested Ummmm, can you guess why Hillman was demoted?
WR Guru 31 Posted November 25, 2013 He played through it, which suggests that it's nothing major. He was never a speed demon anyway.
IGotWorms 3,459 Posted November 25, 2013 He played through it, which suggests that it's nothing major. He was never a speed demon anyway. I disagree, he looked visibly injured when he was stupidly "playing through it". I wouldn't be surprised if he's shelved for weeks.

IGotWorms 3,459 Posted November 25, 2013 Ummmm...okay. Did you watch the game? Did you see him run when they sent him back out there after getting hurt in OT? Looked like he was hopping along on one leg

heffley 12 Posted November 25, 2013 Ummm I would go CJ Anderson... They put him in that game after Ball did what Ball does and Anderson looked solid with the carries he got may want to watch for him.
phillygrrl08 139 Posted November 25, 2013 CJ Anderson flubbed a handoff which was why Moreno went back in the game in OT in obvious pain. I picked up Ball and dropped Miles Austin. Denver would be foolish to rush Moreno back in, and Ball is the next best back IMO.
IGotWorms 3,459 Posted November 25, 2013 Ball will get his chance now. He'll probably fock it up but he'll get his chance.
utambol 2 Posted November 25, 2013 Ball's fumble was the turning point in that game last night. And I don't think he saw the field again after that. If you guys think that he is going to step in and contribute, you're nuts. He's been pretty awful and will take a significant amount of time to develop...if he can even get past these issues he's facing now.
jocstrap 8 Posted November 25, 2013 You Moreno owners weren't counting on him to make it through the entire season were you?
BobSanders_33 127 Posted November 25, 2013 You Moreno owners weren't counting on him to make it through the entire season were you? There was little chance Moreno could make it the whole way. That is why they wanted to install a committee from the start but every running back they attempted to put in couldn't blitz pickup or couldn't hold onto the ball. You just have to remember back to last year and how Fox brought out Moreno when everyone though it was going to be Hillman. Fox likes experienced guys and Ball hasn't proven anything. CJ Anderson isn't the answer. It will be important to hear practice reports but if Hillman is getting reps he was the 1A they wanted this season. Fresh legs out of nowhere! Just like every year. Eddie Kennison 12 Posted November 25, 2013 Knowshon will play next week. Zac Stacy did the same and he had a beast performance the following week. RBs tweak their ankles a lot.

WR Guru 31 Posted November 25, 2013 It's not a real good matchup on the road at KC anyway, so I'd just as soon he take a week of rest and come back fresh.

Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted November 26, 2013 http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/277442/knowshon-moreno-has-significant-bone-bruise Rotoworld reporting that it's a significant bone bruise. True he's Week to Week but I would think he'd be either on a limited snap count or out entirely.
Gepetto 1,011 Posted November 26, 2013 You Moreno owners weren't counting on him to make it through the entire season were you? I don't count on any player to play every game. Also, Moreno hasn't missed a game all year, yet.. Moreno hobbling is better than Ball, Hillman, and CJ Anderson combined.
megatron's mom 6 Posted November 26, 2013 Bone bruise is a pain tolerance thing. The "significant" word means very little in this situation. He's a pretty tough cat playing a division rival after a loss. I'd bet he plays n gets his normal workload. They will rest him all week though.

True he's Week to Week but I would think he'd be either on a limited snap count or out entirely. Bruise never sounds too bad to me. 6 days of rest, have your mommy kiss the boo boo and it should be all better.
TennisMenace 156 Posted November 26, 2013 Don't be so sure Ball will be the man to replace Moreno. Coach don't like fumbles.
megatron's mom 6 Posted November 26, 2013 He's not gonna miss a division game that could very well decide that division. He will likely take a pain shot that day. Be weary of him getting yanked late in the game when it wears off. That's bout it
thePRO 78 Posted November 26, 2013 Am I crazy for wanting to put in Ellington or Sproles instead of Moreno? I could see Sproles used a lot against a tough Seattle defense. Ellington, he's due for a breakout game again no? Long run?
marvinmoss 0 Posted November 27, 2013 Hard to believe he wouldn't be in there if needed if it is just a bruise and it wouldn't jeopordize his playoffs. What a stud he has been this season, awesome against the Pats.

WR Guru 31 Posted November 28, 2013 Am I crazy for wanting to put in Ellington or Sproles instead of Moreno? I could see Sproles used a lot against a tough Seattle defense. Ellington, he's due for a breakout game again no? Long run? I finally tapped out on Ellington this year. Arians' bizarre insistance on getting 15 touches for the incredibly mediocre Mendenhall every week is more than I can stomach. I don't see how you bench a workhorse like Moreno for a Sproles or an Ellington where you're just gambling on one big play. The odds are against you.
