ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police are investigating Michael Brown's stepfather for angry comments made to a Ferguson crowd after a grand jury decided not to indict the police officer who fatally shot his stepson.

St. Louis County Police spokesman Brian Schellman said Tuesday that police are looking into Head's comments as part of a broader investigation into arson, vandalism and looting that followed the Nov. 24 grand jury announcement. Twelve commercial buildings were destroyed by fire.

Widely-circulated video showed Brown's mother, Lesley McSpadden, on top of a car and breaking down as the announcement blares on a stereo. Head, her husband, comforts her then repeatedly yells angry comments, including "Burn this down!"

Family attorney Benjamin Crump has called the reaction "raw emotion," but "completely inappropriate."

Some are convinced the 12 members of the Grand Jury are on the take and collectively agreed to let a cop off the hook - including the 3 African American members of the jury. Maybe had they been provided a "link" to the real truth this bad cop would be standing trial....

There was never any real chance wilson was going to be charged at the federal level. The burden of proof is almost insurmountable. The only reason holder even opened an investigation was to appease the black community and try to stem the tide of rioting

Correct. The federals put on the pretense of looking into it, it pacifies the truly stupid who will continue to believc that this isolated incident is representative of the plight of the average black man....again, because they are simply stupid.

 

What needs to happen is the local community leaders, pastors et al, need to get with their community and talk about what we learned.....1) Do not steal from shop owners, 2) Do not walk in the middle of the street 3) Do not assault a police officer, not even if he speaks to you, even if he is directing you to obey the law.....yes young black men, we DO have laws and you DO need to follow them 3a) Just dont assault people, period even if they diswespect you...poor wittul fellwows..... they might have a gun, and you might get shot, and killed 4) if you do something stupid, expect something bad to happen, so just dont....

Holder got involved because he wanted to stoke the fire. Holder and Obama are race baiters and a lot of the rioting is a direct result of them getting involved in something they should never have even commented on.
