Now that the transcripts have been released for deflategate.....

Recommended Posts

your shtick is so old.

Remember Goddell jumping up and down yelling this is a independent investigation? why did he do that? to brainwash fools like you.

Shut up Flipper. You're the only Pats fan smart enough to admit they cheated, but it never lasts more than 24 hours.

Pretend for a minute that you were a bit intelligent. Who else would possibly care enough to have his ball boys do that? Maybe a backup left tackle? lol

an RB?

Facts are facts fellas. And there are none regarding if Brady ordered the balls to be deflated. Also, you keep saying the patriots balls were deflated but ignore the fact that 3 of 4 of the colts balls that were tested were also under inflated.

From the Courtroom today:

Judge Berman, “What is the evidence of a scheme or conspiracy that covers the Jan. 15 game? I’m having trouble finding it.”

NFL attorney Daniel Nash acknowledged that there was “not such direct evidence".

Berman also noted that Brady had more success in the second half of the game, after the allegedly deflated balls were removed.

After the hearing wrapped up around 12:45 p.m., Sports Illustrated legal expert Michael McCann tweeted that it was a clear victory for Brady.

Wrote McCann: If today was the 1st quarter in Tom Brady v. NFL, Brady might actually get some rest in the 4th. A good day for him.

Imagine how much of a beating this would have been if the NFLPA got their court with the judge they wanted! Even without the home field advantage, the NFL and Goodell are sorely lacking in any proof besides a series of witch hunt headlines they have leaked to sway the simple-minded public.

Majority of NFL players don't think the Patriots are cheaters:

ESPN's NFL Nation reporters and ESPN The Magazine contributors polled more than 100 players (not every player answered every question) and found a similarly sensible consensus. While 72 percent of respondents believe the Patriots were responsible for lowering air pressure of the footballs, only 16 percent said they were "upset" by it and 68 percent said they think other teams do the same thing. Sixty percent said the Patriots aren't "cheaters."

Quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension is too long, according to nearly 80 percent of the players. So it's no surprise that 88 percent said league discipline should not be determined solely by commissioner Roger Goodell.

Deflategate landed in federal court largely because the NFL, Brady and the Patriots couldn't agree on how serious it was.

Brady, with the backing of the NFL Players Association, is appearing at a Southern District of New York court Wednesday, opposite NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and the league in a status/settlement conference before Judge Richard M. Berman. The hearing began at 11 a.m. ET and is part of an expedited process that seeks to have the legal matter resolved by Sept. 4.

A nearly $5 million investigation, the introduction of climate science and a public tirade by Patriots owner Bob Kraft only added to the confusion. Those with a bit of distance -- i.e., NFL players from other teams -- appear to see it as a wild overreaction, even if every bit of it is true.

an RB?

Could even be a WR.....or a TE.....Or hell, a defensive player. Or maybe even a coach or someone in management.

I'd think they are almost all intelligent enough to know how important the turnover battle is. And with the stats showing how less often the Patriots have fumbled compared to everyone else in recent years, an easier ball to grip could be seen as an advantage. But that's just me. :dunno:

But the ball boy had an hour's worth of phone calls the next day from Brady's phone. Not Edleman's or Blount's. Keep trying. It's getting funnier and funnier.

I get that people don't like goodell...how he runs things...how they leak things and even use misinformation or even lies.

But to keep acting like everything else around Brady is just coincidence...just seems like the most moronic thing I can think of.

Question: Imagine YOU were accused of paying a guy you see daily to tamper with something, and it was front page news. Let's say you are completely innocent. Would you call that guy and try and find out what's going on? Or would you stay mum and not contact anyone while the story gets bigger and bigger? Answer honestly.

Crazy right... early the next morning, Brady is interviewed at 8am by local sports radio and is shocked/surprised/laughing at the absurdity of what hit the news at midnight after the game... Brady isn't even aware of it until the radio hosts bring it up... but as it starts to break and become big news, he directly calls the locker room guy that he's being accused of... yup... completely outrageous to think that could have happened... it's gonna be another scandal if the judge sides with NE... Kraft probably paid the judge off because Brady is definitely guilty, I just KNOW he is... I KNOW it for FACT!

So the NFL has a history of leaking personal info like pictures huh?

And that's why you think Brady destroyed his phone right before the interviewed?

Yeah...I'm not the blind one there chief

I get that people don't like goodell...how he runs things...how they leak things and even use misinformation or even lies.

I'll put this down on the list of your inability to come up with a consistent stance.

Yesterday you imply anyone that would worry that the league would ever leak private info is "blind".

Today you understand that the league will leak things, use misinformation, and even lie.

While not as direct a contradiction as I'm used to from you in this thread, it seems anyone that knows the league will leak things, use misinformation, and lie would also know that the league could use information on someone's cell phone to leak things, create misinformation, or even possibly lie.

If I had no idea what any of it was about, I suppose I might call and ask what's going on. Once. He called the guy six times! Didn't just talk to him for a few minutes. The six calls totaled 60 minutes. That's two guys working out a story and making sure they're on the same page. With lots of afterthoughts that required more phone calls.

Is that honest enough for you?

This is working out just as I hoped. Brady's career tarnished already no matter what happens by public opinion, and now Goodell and the NFL gets publicly called out by a court of law for being overzealous know-it-all dipshits.

We all win.

One call...sure, that makes sense.

More than one for hours on end? Brady himself doing that?

Come on...you all seem to believe every story that the Pats come up with...and they are so unbelievable its crazy.

Jesus man you just can't stop can you? You even admit you would call the person and find out what was going on. The fact that Brady called him multiple times is your argument here? Lol that's stupid and you know it. Everyone isn't like you chief. Plus the fact that Brady was probably talking to multiple people that day so he was going back and forth from talking to the ball boy, his agent, and others about the whole thing. I'm sure there were many things to talk about so don't bring up the argument "well he never once talked to the ball boy until this so he must be guilty!" Bullsh1t. It's stupid and makes you look less intelligent for saying so

Im talking about leaking info through mort.

The league and the teams often leak information. Far different than them just deciding...hey, look here is Brady making a silly face...lets put it out there.

You have trouble...once again...with the context of a conversation.

You are clueless as usual. You probably should have stopped long ago...but keep making yourself look foolish.

First Day In Court Goes Down As A Win For Tom Brady’s Side

It's just better to read for yourself :D

http://boston.cbslocal.com/2015/08/12/hurley-first-day-in-court-goes-down-as-a-win-for-tom-bradys-side/

U.S. District Judge Richard Berman does not mess around.
That much was clear in the opening minutes of Wednesday’s session with Roger Goodell and Tom Brady, when the judge opened an aggressive line of questioning about what, exactly, the NFL had proven.
Thanks to the tweeting of New York Daily News reporter Stephen Brown, we all got a glimpse inside the courtroom. And for Goodell and the NFL, it did not look good.
Though most legal experts agreed in the days leading up to the meeting that Berman’s ultimate responsibility will be to rule on the process of discipline as well as the letter of the CBA, the judge instead targeted the very foundation of the NFL’s case.
That would, of course, largely be the report prepared by Ted Wells, which served as the basis for the NFL’s decision to suspend Brady for four games. And on that report, Berman immediately questioned the purported “independence” of Wells, who was paid by the league and whose firm was later hired to represent the league in the appeal hearing.
On that point, NFL attorney Daniel Nash repeated what the league said last Friday: It doesn’t matter whether or not Wells was “independent.”

You're the focking idiot who can't see the obvious. Six phone calls?? Someone is in panic mode! LOl The Deflator? That doesn't cause any suspicion? Destroying his phone?

All you Patriot morons should just admit that you hate the fact that your team was busted for cheating once again so you're going to believe everything the pathetic callers on WEEI come up with. You all sound desperate and moronic.

Keep sounding desperate newbie. Maybe one day you will turn out to be right. As of right now you couldn't be more wrong. Looking at all the evidence impartially, as the judge in this case is doing, you can clearly see that there's nothing that holds water in this case. Yet for some reason your small, mind can't seem to grasp that. "Well he made phone calls to the guy" yea just like anyone else would when a potentially big accusation comes young out. Where does that prove that he had anything to do with it? Please share with the rest of the class what evidence, and I say again EVIDENCE, you have that you can point to that clearly says "hey patriots cheated" other than your own admission of being biased and wanting the patriots to be guilty? Go ahead I'll wait but I'll be dead before you produce anything that has any standing ground

1. I'll admit there is plenty enough for "suspicion" as you put it. Sure. But there isn't nearly enough to go any further than that. The judge seems to agree when he said “What is the evidence of a scheme or conspiracy that covers the Jan. 15 game? I’m having trouble finding it.”. But I guess he is a focking idiot that is desperate and moronic.

2. Wow. I'm starting to think you must be biased if you are this emotional about it.

LOL., Emotional. Djgib said I sounded stupid so he needed a little reminder about all the facts he's overlooking just because he's a patriots fan. I think this whole thing is hilarious. Especially the fact that Brady won't just man up and admit that he cheated and now it's dragged to the next season. His lying and selfishness is causing a distraction when this should have all been over a week after he got busted.
