murf74 461 Posted September 13, 2015 Maybe the high pitch voice Peyton has a stronger arm? For sure
Magnificent Bastard 191 Posted September 13, 2015 No, because he was never on the Patriots and only the Patriots break the rules Get over it woman. They cheated and admitted it. GornFishin' 57 Posted September 13, 2015 End of 2014 he had a thigh injury that really hampered his ability to prop and put strength behind his throws. IMO this really exacerbated some decline he was having, and will continue to have. He got me to the playoffs then I switched in Big Ben. Â Â He's still Manning. If he doesn't get ADDITIONAL health issues, he will still produce. Id say somewhere around QB 8-10.. Anderson/Hillman will get a ton of work under Kubiak. And you take DT to be a YAC guy anyway. Â I think it;s Mannings last season, but he wont go out a completely broken man.
Ray_T 753 Posted September 13, 2015 I thought his arm strength looked poor the year he threw for 5000 yards. He had a ton of weapons and his crazy football IQ to get around it. Heres the thing, at 55 years old are we going to say "well Peytons arm strength was never what he relied on. He still has his brains and thats all he needs". He has to decline at some point. fair enough. Â I do think he has one more year in him. Â and this is it. I think that brings him to the age of 39 or 40. That is pretty close to the maximum shelf life for any QB.
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted September 13, 2015 And today he'll throw for 300yds and 2 TDs.....
TennisMenace 156 Posted September 13, 2015 Ok, so we all agree Peyton can't throw beyond 10 yards is now scared of getting killed, and he is counting on DT running like wild after he catches it. Otherwise, Peyton is pretty ordinary.
Mike Nice 40 Posted September 13, 2015 Like Elway said in the offseason, the run game will be his best friend. Â I expect Mannings yards to slightly decrease, but he is a lock for 35+ tds

big D 0 Posted September 13, 2015 As a Bronco fan, i watched last year as Manning stunk towards year-end. I always called BS on the leg injury....just trying to shift blame. I only targeted 1 bronco this year and that is the defense. Sacks and picks baby! as the pressure from the rush will cause picks. CJ anderson could be solid, but i avoided anything in the passing game. I don't see DT or Sanders producing where they're picked. Manning will be good early in the season and then his arm will fall off.

Eli is not bad on stage either.
redsrback 30 Posted September 13, 2015 All this Manning has weapons talk is odd, did you see the weapons before he arrived in Denver? Julius Thomas granted is playing for JAC.. fell off the earth ranked 26th best TE. The running backs aren't Edgerin James either.

tanatastic 2,062 Posted September 14, 2015 Mariota likely on your waiver wire for 4tds and Manning gets 0. Isn't FF fun and skill based!

brotherbock 349 Posted September 14, 2015 40 passes for only 175 and no td said at home and you guys think he looks fine!!!! Do you think it was arm strength that was to blame? If he had huge arms, would he have done his own pass blocking?
$epphori$ 118 Posted September 14, 2015 He underthrew Demarios a few times. He didnt loo good at all. I am glad though cuz I went up against Manning Sanders Forte CHarles So if it wasnt for Brady Gronk and Abdulla I wouldnt have beat him this week

$epphori$ 118 Posted September 14, 2015 He overthrew 2tds. He was rattled I know that he overthrew Sanders twice, but he also underthrew Thomas a few times where the ball didnt even reach him I am glad I have Brady instead of Manning. Brady is clutch and doesnst get rattled
TennisMenace 156 Posted September 14, 2015 I'm sorry fellows. This may be premature, but I've seen enough of Peyton to not want him on my team anymore. He is gone Wednesday and I don't care if he throws five dump off TEs next week. He is toast.
murf74 461 Posted September 14, 2015 I know that he overthrew Sanders twice, but he also underthrew Thomas a few times where the ball didnt even reach him So one is more indicative of arm strength than other? Â You watched a game where a qb underthrew a wr twice and think his arm is shot?
$epphori$ 118 Posted September 14, 2015 So one is more indicative of arm strength than other? You think Peyton is fine? Then thats great for you. I dont know why you want to convince me his arm is fine when I think its not. Why would you even care what I thnk? Â Actually Peyton looked great. He was deadly accurate. And his arm strength was above and beyond most QBs in the league. I wish I had him on my team. Feel better?

bjsteel 34 Posted September 14, 2015 This past summer a lot of people where posting that is over rated , and what we saw towards the end of last season shown us that his body just can't take it anymore . If you drafted Manning I hope you drafted a good back up , let's say like his Brother Eli . I ended up drafting Stafford earlier than I wanted, just in case. Judging from my recent post about drafting Manning in the 9th rd in my last draft and being bummed, there are a many Manning lovers out there. I suppose he will be great forever and will never slow down. lol
Kent 228 Posted September 14, 2015 i think the Ravens D looked formidable. Might have something to do with his bad game. They get some cred. Â Those division games loom. Sweet fantasy points on the way!

jgcrawfish 232 Posted September 14, 2015 But they also lost Suggs for the season That just means he'll only sack Roethlisberger 4 times this season instead of 9 or something. Hate that Suggs guy...
