2.3 EDJR - FLEX

The ultimate FLEX. I could make an argument for hilarity (sometimes he can be funny), heart (deep down hes a good guy), vagina (quitting could be synonomous with vagina) and certainly... asshole

Might have the most posts on this site, which would certainly fit any type of sad category and whether you want to admit it or not, successfully created a GFIAFP-less sanctuary that had some good moments. (muppet wedding photo anyone?). A poster I used to clash quite a bit with but have come to consider an internet friend.

Something came up that I need to rule on.

 

It was my intention that once you drafted a Geek with his or her position that cannot be changed. Part of the drafting process is to fill out a full team at each position so you must keep that in consideration. You can't just change a previously picked geek's position after you pick it.

 

However since this was not mentioned in writing before the draft each drafter gets ONE mulligan. At any point in the draft you can switch a geeks position. You must post your intention here and I will change it on the official team list at the top of this thread.

 

For example.

 

If I have NewbieJr as my sports position and later in the draft I have a geek in mind there I can move Newbie to the politics or a-hole spot if I choose and if its open.

 

But you only get ONE mulligan.

 

So let it be written, let it be done.

As long as a poster fits a position its fine.

 

Most people fit several positions.

 

The key is to pick the best available and still have a position that you can fit them in to. That's a bit of strategy as the draft goes deeper.

GFIAFP is as much a legendary poster as anyone else taken in round one. He was absolutely on my radar too at eight and was unhappy to see him go. The reason he and RP fell to the end of the round is that nobody actually likes them and nobody wants them stinking up their roster when there are different legendary poster available that people actually LIKE.

I like GFIAFP well enough in a weird way. Hell, sometimes I kind of miss the focker. Every so often, he royally p!ssed me off, and I blasted him severely on more than one occasion, but the pace is poorer without him honestly.

 

Sure, he's bat sh!t crazy. Sure, he's a proud focking leech on society. But he is, at times at least, a smart, funny, nice guy.

 

Its a shame he can't put aside the excuses and try to get his sh!t together. But I know as well as anyone how easy it is to dwell in ones delusions. God knows I wallowed in my own excuses for a lot of years.

My intention was to keep this very open to interpretation as much as possible. So that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Remember though, there will be a pole here, not anywhere else, for Geeks (fftoday) to vote.
