DankNuggs 305 Posted August 2, 2016 I hate Ted Cruz, but he figured out something before most here. We are about to see one of the all time great risks in not thinking for yourself and just blindly rooting for uniforms manifest itself. 4 years from now, the primary theme of the Republican candidate's platform is going to be dismissing Trump as the greatest mistake his party ever made. Trump will be the scarlett letter. Clinton will push the That GOP candidate as another Trump, and that candidate will call himself the anti-Trump. So posters here like Cyclone that believe Donald Trump is exactly what this country needs will then have to vehemently support the argument that the opposite of Trump is exactly what this country needs. It's a predicament for anyone with character. 4 years from now the democrats will say anyone not a D is a racist, sexist, classist unfit for the presidency. Mark it down. Trump doesn't matter, it's the same gameplan
wiffleball 4,790 Posted August 2, 2016 Watch the video. It's not nearly as bad as you want to make it sound like. Like I said trumps sneezes the wrong way and you guys have a fit. Hillary could let in Isis into the country and you guys would still post oh yeah but you hear what Trump said at a rally? Well, I can't speak for everyone, but I do have a pretty consistent history of not supporting people of color. #OrangeIsTheNewBLECHh!

wiffleball 4,790 Posted August 3, 2016 Geebus, now Trump and his trumpeteers are trying to smear Mr Khan by saying what he's REALLY angry about is Trumps policies would hurt his business of GASP - Smuggling in Islamic Terrorists! ...The guy is an immigration lawyer. For fock's sake, is there no bar too low for you? Dude, seriously, learn the expression "quit while you're behind". At first I thought he was a joke, but he's a full on scumbag with the judgement of a rattlesnake. On a related note, just watched a piece on Mr and Mrs Khan's son - including interviews with his military crew - You guys should check it out. This was a pretty amazing kid long before he sacrificed his life to save dozens if not hundreds of his own, How you continually and repeatedly smear the parents of a kid like that is beyond belief. What a thin-skinned, immature jagoff. Not since Donna Rice has one minor character played such a part in killing a campaign
hoytdwow 202 Posted August 3, 2016 been a great day for the Drumpf. First he kicked some lady out of his rally because her baby was crying, then he refused to endorse Ryan and McCain in their primaries, then he said the election might be rigged because people will vote 10 times because there are no voter id laws. Is his campaign ever going to get on message or is he just going to go around airing his personal grievances?

wiffleball 4,790 Posted August 3, 2016 In fairness, what I don't get is why Trump is already throwing the gun when Assange has already warned that more shiit is to come vis a vis DNC/HRC.. Did they shoot their load already and everything else is relatively benign? Honestly don't know After getting past the hyperbole, take a look at the DNC emails. The worst one is a couple of staffers saying that someone should question Bernies religion in Kentucky(one of the last primaries) and it was followed up by a rebuke saying the chair didn't want that and nobody asks him that question. People read it as bias, maybe. I think a lot of it reads that people were tired of being accused of playing favorites while having to deal with a guy/supporters who was officially eliminated. The question that one needs to ask, did the DNC do anything overt to help one candidate over another and I don't see that from the emails. I'd be happy to change my position/perception if shown something concrete, but I haven't seen it yet.

cbfalcon 825 Posted August 3, 2016 Doesn't Manafart/Trump realize that the GOP can't stand Trump and wanted anyone to win the nomination except him. If things are rigged, he wouldn't be the Republican nominee. "Rigged" has become Trump's go to word whenever things don't work out his way. Yep. What Trump should realize is: A rigged election either means "Rigged for Clinton" or "Rigged Against Trump". 1. If this thing is rigged for Clinton, then that is the only reason Trump himself has made it thus far. As Trump was about the only person she polled ahead of. 2. If this thing is just rigged against Trump, either A) he'd have lost before now.....or B.) He'd be facing Sanders, as Sanders crushed Trump much more powerfully than Clinton in polls. So in summary, it's not rigged against Trump. That's been proven twice........And if it's rigged for Clinton, Trump benefited as much or more.

IGotWorms 4,059 Posted August 3, 2016 http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/02/politics/meg-whitman-hillary-clinton-endorsement/index.html Meg Whitman, a major GOP donor and former California gubernatorial candidate, said Tuesday she would support Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, making her one of the highest-profile Republican defections. "Donald Trump's demagoguery has undermined the fabric of our national character," Whitman said in a statement. "America needs the kind of stable and aspirational leadership Secretary Clinton can provide." Whitman, the president and CEO of Hewlett-Packard, also said in an interview with the New York Times she would use her considerable resources to make a contribution to the Clinton campaign and its allied super PACs. Clinton herself asked Whitman for her support, the businesswoman told the Times, which was the first to report the endorsement. Whitman's comments came as Trump has clashed with members of his own party over a protracted dispute with the family of a Muslim US soldier who was killed in action. They also came on a day that saw the first sitting Republican member of Congress express support for Clinton as well as the top adviser to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and the former top aide to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

IGotWorms 4,059 Posted August 3, 2016 Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, is said to be livid over an interview Donald J. Trump gave Tuesday in which he refused to endorse House Speaker Paul D. Ryan in his primary fight, and is considering several options to show his public support for Mr. Ryan. Mr. Priebus is debating the best way to demonstrate solidarity with Mr. Ryan, ranging from a formal endorsement to an email publicly stating his support, said three people with knowledge of Mr. Priebuss internal discussions. A public announcement could come as early as Wednesday. In an interview with The Washington Post on Tuesday, Mr. Trump said he liked Mr. Ryan and was considering endorsing him for re-election, but was not yet ready to support him. Im just not quite there yet, Mr. Trump said. Im not quite there yet. Mr. Trumps language was strikingly similar to the language Mr. Ryan used earlier this year when he said he was not ready to endorse Mr. Trump for president. Some people close to Mr. Trump fault Mr. Ryan for withholding his endorsement for a few weeks before ultimately backing him.
