dcgangstas 41 Posted November 10, 2016 I have both, and the answer is yes. Fleener's snaps have been declining, and he's also losing TE touches to Josh Hill. Ray_T 591 Posted November 10, 2016 who else is available? Maybe if you list the top 6 or 7 Free agent TE's you may be able to sneak one out. I seem to recall that Pitta may be a good pickup. He's up against a team that gets roasted by any TE that's not crappy. GornFishin' 57 Posted November 10, 2016 Kendricks seems to have developed a reasonable if unspectacular floor. Brate more TD upside. Tye and HH are in TE committees. Eagles will run more this week. By design and necessity since Garçon and Djax have been poor and the deep balls aren't being thrown. Plus, I can't believe I'm saying this but, Davis has looked great. Will Tye TE Giants is another name I might throw a dart at. I also like the Vernon Davis mention. Due to the return of Gates and the injury to Hunter Henry, I've been forced to stream a TE every week with reasonable success. CJ Fedora vs Lions Austin Hooper vs Bucs Dennis Pitta vs Browns L. Green vs Browns Unless you've had a top TE option this year, TE has been one massive headache. Even Gronk owners have been forced into streaming options (early on and now this week). But I still think it is shaky. Julius also happened to see a season high in targets last week (and this came despite an increase in snap count for blocking TE Ben Koyack). Add in that Darius Slay may return and induce Bortles to redirect some of his Robinson-targets elsewhere and you have a few reasons to give consideration to a Julius Thomas start this week.
