titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted February 9, 2017 Game of Thrones. Zero interest. Bunch of D&D's too lazy to play the game so they're watching it on TV. Meh That criticism is played. People don't watch cop shows because they love cops. Or hospital shows because they love doctors. GOT is well written and well acted. That's why it's good. DonS 3,292 Posted February 9, 2017 Anyone not watching Taboo on FX, you're missing a great show. Agreed. Great show. Tom Hardy is excellent. His hat is badass.

patweisers44 847 Posted February 12, 2017 Went back to Breaking Bad yesterday and still not getting the love. Like i said before its like a bad Three's Company episode with the misunderstandings, etc. The RV doesnt start, lets cook meth at your house, oh wait you forgot there was an open house to sell the place today? At least they finally starting explaining why he was spending hours upon hours away from his family unquestioned.
kilroy69 1,251 Posted February 12, 2017 one of my problems is that I loved malcom in the middle. Loved it. And I could never get into Hal being a bad guy
wiffleball 4,790 Posted February 12, 2017 Never wtched an episode of james spaders new gig. Hear its good. He ruined Age of Ultron for me. Everytime old Tron spoke all I could think of was hey that's James Spader! You sure don't see much of James Gandolfini these days. I guess after Sopranos he was pretty much Typecast. Would be great on Walking Dead.
Cruzer 1,995 Posted February 12, 2017 Watched one episode of breaking bad. Turned it off. BB is the total opposite of Sons of Anarchy.. BB takes a few episodes to get going, but once it does - it's awesome... SoA is focking intense, I can see how it's too much for some.

vuduchile 1,945 Posted February 12, 2017 I think his death in 2013 is the bigger reason than typecasting. True. But since that time, he's also been a little stiff.
mmmmm...beer 807 Posted February 12, 2017 I came here for "The Wire". I've personally been on 4 wires and that series is the suck. I could only get past 2 or 3 episodes before I was done with that rediculousness.

It's slow but the payoff I think I'd excellent
Cruzer 1,995 Posted February 12, 2017 The main guy in SoA is just a bad actor. Ruins the show. I think they nailed his casting balls on... You can't just throw Tom Hanks, Kevin Spacey, Seth Rogan or Bradley Cooper in there and have it be believable. The leader of a notorious biker gang gas to be a brute, rough, tough and socially stiff - and he hits all those.

Hardcore troubadour 15,451 Posted February 13, 2017 it was written by a cop. Baltimore homicide cop Ed Norris, a cast member and one of the writers, was an NYPD deputy commissioner who came up through the ranks. The compstat stuff was right on the money, but Hamsterdam was silly.

supermike80 1,921 Posted June 12, 2017 Oh really? I'm just 4 episodes in so far. Yeah it jumps the shark a little. But Season one is great, season 2 is good. The rest are watchable, but they get maybe slightly absurd. My call. Maybe you wont think so.

tanatastic 2,062 Posted June 13, 2017 Finally got around to Lost and have been binging it to S3 so far. Really like it, so many mysteries. SoA was among my fav shows ever and loved it, ditto for breaking bad. As for the topic, I couldn't get into Mad men but then my wife did and loves it. It's not as bad as When I started it, just have to let it grow on you. Plus the women are fine as hell.

One of the best ever. UNLESS.....you want any resolution to the mysteries they present in the show. Because you will be disappointed. Utterly disappointed. I'm not talking a couple left hanging. Like ALL OF them...Every mystery. Every thing you want to know why it happened, for what reason, what led to it, why did it happen etc.... Nope. You will never have those questions answered. So if you like good "character development" which is what the writers puked on us after they realized they weren't good enough to tie off the loose ends, then enjoy LOST. Cause that's all it is. My family and I binged LOST several years ago when we first got netflix. Really enjoyed the first several seasons. Started to think "WTF is going on?" for the last couple seasons, and then ended up extremely pissed at the ending. Might as well ride it out and see what we're talking about. Embrace the hate. I do love me some Juliet, though. Just something about her does it for me.
