The article was written 3 months ago its climbed to the 5th highest since then. I understand the concern but I wouldnt worry to much about it. That error is something that can be fixed and they likely already have.

That's exactly the point. The centralized model will not scale to meet the demand of the IoT. Furthermore, the cryptographic processes inherent in all blockchains will not only make it perfect for the transactions themselves, but also the security of the actual devices. You need think about it as investing on the technology itself, than just the current crypto currency uses. Device authentication, control layers, security, etc.

Yep, I like that idea a lot better than conjuring up a bunch of cash by virtual mining - I know fiat currency is artificially created as well, but at least there is some regulation.

A friend of mine has made a bunch of money over here selling jewelry. He invested all that in bitcoin and is estatic right now.

He said he just bought 30 machines and is opening a crypto mine in Mongolia. Idk what that means exactly, but damn.

Hes telling me to buy Litecoin ASAP. Says it is going to the moon soon.

Because there are 2.78 billion coins, and it's now at a huge market share. It seems the market share would need to grow astronomically to gain another couple hundred percent

My buddy who spends all his time on this told me, low market share and low circulation have the largest potential for growth. High market share and high circulation have lower potential

I agree with this, with a mix of credible acceptance in there as well. It's why I like ETH and LTC best. LTC just hit 160 btw.

I got 568 ltc at 88 and 1 ltc at 432

Also my mom got 1 btc at 9100

So your LTC is worth about 90k right now?

Nicely done.

I don't have near that kind of investment but, my chunk of LTC is @ 57. Killing it.

ATH's for ETH & LTC, enjoy the ride folks. Nothing wrong with taking some profits as well...

Thanks again 90's, I know there has been a lot of good back and forth about the sector but, these tips have turned into real substantial money for those of us in early. Of course, plenty of $$ to still be made. Excited going forward.

Some are obviously here just to troll but, that's ok as well, discussion helps all of us learn. Missing out sucks also, so I get that part of it, easy to tell in the tone.

Havent posted here in years but still visit and have been following this thread for awhile. Ive been involved with cryptos since before the Mt. Gox debacle 😔 and I cant stress enough that those of you who plan on holding the coins for awhile follow 90s advice and get them into an offline wallet or at the very least use the coinbase vault wallet. I learned the hard way, Id rather you guys didnt.

It may have been mentioned earlier but those of you buying at Coinbase please stop. No reason to pay those ridiculous fees. Theve got an exchange called GDAX. Same username/password as Coinbase. Heres a link on how to fund GDAX with USD.

Saw Iota mentioned above. Get some Iota, I’m with 90s on this, potential is off the charts.

Some misconceptions above about Iota. There are 2.8 quadrillion Iota. What we are buying are miota, 1 million Iota.

“Iota is specifically designed for machines, so this high supply makes IOTA optimal for tiny nanotransactions while still keeping efficiency in mind."

Is Iota a blockchain? Nope Iota is the Tangle. Solves the blockchains biggest flaw, scalability. This explains the difference pretty good.

Binance best place to get it. 0.05% fees, think somebody had a referral link earlier.

Merry Cryptomas!

Every time Bitcoin's price is mentioned, it's stated as "It surged past..." It's kind of annoying to see every site use the same phrase to describe it

I admit that I don't know a darn thing about stocks or Bitcoin or anything.

I have $2500 to spend and if I lose all of it it won't affect my life.

What is it that you guys are suggesting would be good to invest in?

I tried reading this thread but all the arguing just made me jump to the end.

My sister bought $200 worth of Bitcoin.

I considered buying it a while ago and I was talked out of it due to its link with crime.

And can someone just cliff notes this whole bitcoin, Ethernet whatever litecoin thing. Gee whiz...

I transferred some ETH and LTC to binance so I could buy some IOTA. Thus far, the transactions still show as pending on binance, but completed with a confirmation email from coinbase.

And now I cant seem to find a LTC to IOTA exchange there.

Id hoped these currencies would move quicker, but I guess thats too much to hope for at this point in the game.

ETA: finally completed and Im in on IOTA.

Had to buy BTC with LTC then IOTA with BTC.

Hopefully you get something for the referral.

Thanks!

IOTA s blockchain-based marketplace will allow businesses to sell data in an effort to create incentive for the sharing of data that would otherwise be wasted. Five brand-name businesses have already signed up to test the two-month demo, including software giant Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Cisco Systems, Samsung, Volkswagen, and Fujitsu
