SUXBNME 1,348 Posted January 5, 2018 I think release date is the key. But if its initial charting was in 1980, fock it, go ahead. Uhh...no
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted January 5, 2018 And now it is Ed's pick, so I guess we are done for the day, as it is nearly midnight eastern time. If one of you guys has the focker's number or something, maybe hit him up in the morning. The 24 hour clock starts now.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted January 5, 2018 Acreed, but it looks like its already done. Well, my logic was that it was released in the US 26 days from the 80's. First charted in the 80's. Spent much of 1980 on the charts. I just made a ruling. But since we are on an Ed hiatus anyway, we can put it to a vote if you wish? Going strictly by release date certainly makes my life easier. And I can see if someone considered this song and rejecting it because of the release date, them being annoyed.
fandandy 3,311 Posted January 5, 2018 Dudes, I was just asking and no problemo with a NO ruling. I had it lined up and for whatever reason I googled and realized it was late '79. Let's not allow it to make this fair and easy. 4:08 Need You Tonight - INXS

So it shall be written, so shall it be done. Anyway. Back to edjr purgatory. Anyone have his number for the morning? Sux?

Michael H was a pretty good looking dood back in the day.

We used to call 867-5309. You got a message with a really rednecky sounding guy that said, "If you're calling for Mike, leave a message. If you're calling for Jenny, go fock yourself."

vuduchile 1,941 Posted January 5, 2018 4.10 Lets Dance - David BowieBowies most commercially successful album gave us this title track. His voice perfectly captured the new wave vibe, and with big band style horns and SRV on guitar, this song defines the era. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4d7Wp9kKjA

You got a message with a really rednecky sounding guy that said, "If you're calling for Mike, leave a message. If you're calling for Jenny, go fock yourself." My uncle's prefix is 867 as well. I wonder if that number is taken. When I first bought my house I was on hold with the phone company. Semi drunk and on hold I started wondering if I could could choose the last four digits to make a word. Four letter words are four letter words but when the phone lady finally came back I asked if 7883 was taken. A few clicks later and my old number was 879-STUD

fandandy 3,311 Posted January 5, 2018 Vudu on the clock then the dreaded Ed selection. Reminds me of way back in the day when we were first starting our family fantasy draft. The internet was just becoming a thing for information and we all shared a password from the Huddle. When it came to my dads turn he would get up and leave the room to go to the computer room. You had no idea how long he might be gone. Not sure but I think the next year we implemented a time limit.
