So many choices here. But immediately when I started thinking 60s...I had about 10 songs that came to mind...same already drafted and some I have a tiny chance they get back to me. I just didn't think this had a chance to make it back in round 2...and love the song. Great lyrics and huge part of the era and a song that still works so well.

I'm going to share this story, please be kind. My older daughter always wanted to be a singer, specifically in musical theater. She honestly just didn't have what it took to make a career out of it. However, she always liked this song, and her school had a classic rock talent show, she practiced this a lot more than anything else I remember, and it came out... pretty good, in the opinion of a proud dad. Some iffy notes here and there, but this was the best musical performance she had in HS.
