It was supposed to be used by media as a 'drip-drip' of rumor and innuendo (vague) that was supposed to last months/years. The media reporting these rumors were then to be used as 'sourcing' by FBI/DOJ as a means to launch investigation(s). Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson were aghast and shocked when Buzzfeed broke script and published the whole thing, opening it up to scrutiny. Remember the Intelligence Community Assessment Obama ordered in December 2016? Yes, the one '17 intelligence agencies' bought off on that turned out to be 3-4 guys hand picked by Clapper. Comey wanted to include the Dossier in it but Clapper/Obama didn't want the Dossier in that assessment despite it being such a huge part of the Russia investigation. Why? RLLD 4,230 Posted April 12, 2019 We can likely assert at this time that to dossier was apparently known to be questionable at best, and the rank and file FBI folks, unlike the leaders serving the Democrats, sought to emphasize it was politcally-sourced and unreliable....was dismissed by FBI leadership who seemed to be serving an agenda handed to them by the Dems.... Fusion GPS/Nellie rinsed most of the stuff through Steele who gave it to several individuals (Media, DOJ, FBI). Bruce Ohr and David Kramer (McCain's assistant) also had custody of versions of it as well. Paul Ryan may have played a role as well. The FBI has now confirmed that they submitted phony applications, that Steele was collecting Russian disinformation, and that they used that disinformation to spy on a political opponent and open a special prosecutor investigation. He needs to get all the key positions, to include the SES folks, replaced quickly. He needs to ensure he cannot be undermined by that agency. I want a mix of people, not just "trump people". We need to reimagine the agency, with leadership that has integrity....will STILL hold Trump to account, but not in the lawfare manner used by the liberal allies presently in there.
