Yep, Eagles really nailed harmonies. My GF said she was never an Eagles fan until they played at some charity concert she was at and did Seven Bridges Road. She was blown away and now is a big fan.

RIP Glenn Frey

They were the best at harmonies......Glenn Frey I know worked hard on that and stressed it always.

I love singing harmonies as well, I've recently found out that many vocalists can't do it.

Its definitely not the easiest thing to do.

And when theyre off, it really wrecks the song.

CSNY is in the discussion for best harmonizing of all time.

Yuck. If there were still records and someone played Judy blue eyes one more fockin time I'd frisbee that sucker against a wall.

There are a thousand classic rock songs I could say that about.

How about Southern Cross? Excellent harmonizing there too.

Southern Cross is great. Didn't get played out as much as all the other hippy CSNY stuff. Love Jimmy Buffets version.

Saw them a bunch the past 10+ years. Sad I won't ever get to see them without DD

The guy who replaced him is pretty damn good in his own right. We saw DD opening for, I think Boston, last year. He was pretty good as a solo artist as well, and does a bunch of stuff STYX won't do anymore.

Agreed. Lawrence Gowan is a perfect replacement for DD, but he's not DD.

I'd like to see DD solo too
