its a conspiracy

honestly for east coast teams, they schedule a day off for home openers so they can do a makeup the next day (see STL/SD today)

And it's stupid to schedule it like that. These teams should be starting in warm weather/ domes as much as possible anyway.

I dont think there are enough honestly

I mean how late do you want the east coast to have their opener?

They can do better. NY and Detroit playing each other early can be avoided.

so the AL, basically we can only guarantee TOR, SEA, and TB, and probably Oak, LA, Hou and Tex, there are 15 teams there has to be some situations

They can do better with the scheduling. The Angels are playing Texas and Seattle played Oakland today.

The Brewers have enough arms to win the division, but they did give up 10 runs tonight while Hader sat

Meanwhile, Lester is the only Cubs pitcher who can get anybody out.

Not looking good for Maddon early in the last year of his contract.

Has a manager and general manager ever both been fired the year after winning it all?

It is a conundrum, but I think the players are to blame. Ton of talent not living up to even half of expectations

Cubs back above .500.  Starters have been mostly good with Lester sidelined.  He's back tonight to try to sweep the Dodgers.  Meanwhile, Morrow has had another setback.

Baez continues to impress.  He, Heyward, Contreras, Descalso and Bote all hitting over .300.

Bryant, Rizzo and Schwarber have yet to find it.  I'm beginning to think Schwarber never will.

Rhys Hoskins with a 34 second home run trot last night. At first I was thinking "what a punk ass", then I saw what the pitcher had done against him the previous night (threw two fastballs just over his head). Completely justified.

Yeah but he will get one near his ear the next time he plays the Mets...  He better not be shocked...

Ridiculous though. If your b*tch ass pitcher buzzes a guy's head twice in one at bat, he doesn't have a damn thing to complain about if that guy shows him up the next night. Dumb enough that he didn't get ejected for it in the first place.

Oh I totally agree with you, but you know just as I do that their minds don't work that way...

If the Red Sox win tonight, by any score, I win $25 from pat

Zimmersuck vs Porsucko.

A whole lot of suck on the mound tonight.

Combined 0 - 6 with an ERA over 6.5

Pretty incredible really.  They're contending with a lineup that's basically half a triple A team.

Your right it’s 314 down the line to rf and much bigger down the line to left field

315🙄

For about five feet. Stop it. It expands out after that. Jeez, Yankee hate is strong around here. I get it though.

LB Official Rule 1.04 (a): Any field built by a Club after June 1, 1958 will have a minimum distance of 325 feet from Home Plate to the fence that is nearest in the right and left fields along the foul lines, and a minimum 400-foot center field fence.
