I completely understand your concerns.  I just don't join in with those concerns.  That doesn't make me ignorant, it just means I don't worry about the same things as you do.  It's not much different than how I don't worry about anyone taking my guns away.

I live in the country, I can piss and shiit in my yard already.  I saw a couple deer in my yard this morning and I'm sure they shiit on it as well.  

As for people shiiting on the street in town, I don't see that ever happening around here.  Hard for me to be concerned about things I don't believe will happen.

I’m going to take a wild guess here and say some cities have decided to not prosecute public urination / defecation because the vast majority of people doing it are homeless and it’s just not worth the time and expense of prosecuting / incarcerating people who have no other options and have mental health issues. 

There’s probably an argument to be made that this change is a bad idea that encourages other non homeless / mental ill people to treat their city like a toilet but Republicans aren’t interested in having that discussion. They just want to talk about poop on the road.

Most people who celebrate Christmas don't even connect the holiday to the birth of Jesus Christ.  They may call it Christmas, but they're just using the holiday to party, buy gifts and see family.   That's not the original intent of the holiday, but commercialism intervened long ago and this is just where we are. 

I guess I don't really care what people call their tree if they aren't truly celebrating Christmas. 

I'll continue to call mine a Christmas tree and celebrate accordingly.

What blame have I placed on you.  I care that our nation has school shooting at the rate it does.  That's actually something that concerns me and scares the crap out of me.  That is more real to me than people arguing about a Christmas tree.  It's focking ridiculous.

On a certain level I don't object to your first sentence.  However, announcing to the world that you aren't going to do it seems kinda dumb.  Also, the issue should still be addressed; prosecution is just one tool in the box (maybe SF is doing so, but from my visit last year they have a lot of room for improvement).

I didn't say anything about homeless people and either did they.  They were talking as if all people are just going to start pooping in the streets and I am not worried about that ever happening.  Do you think they were trying to make any honest comparisons here.  I found the whole discussion stupid and not comparable.

It's known that there have been more school shootings in recent years than in the past.  While they are still rare I think the fact that there have been more is significant.
