I wouldn't go that far, or would maybe agree if you changed 18 to about 12, but as I said above they shouldn't have to take it.

this. both my kids tested positive...one had nothing ,didn't even know she had it. other had  slight fever for 2 hours maybe

I drew the line at 14 since they'd be in high school.  At that point yes I think they could make their own decision on something like this.

How about gender transformation surgery? What age would you give the ok? How about hormones?

At 14 you think they would make an informed decision, but don't know what data they would base that on?  If anything, high school is the worst time to allow a kid to make a decision on something with potentially life altering effects. Would you be OK with their decision if they became infertile as an adult?

Clearly much of the GC isn’t using much more than unsubstantiated social media posts for their “information,” so I think a 14 year old could probably do better than that.
