I just read the article.  It's not bad, and is actually basically saying what I did, just giving it a stupid name of "medium covid" so that anticovidvaxxers can make fun of it without actually looking at the data.

It claims "long covid" is probably real, just that it doesn't look to be killing people.   But people do die at a higher rate in the initial weeks (like 3 months max) following getting covid.   This is backed up by the fact that spikes in total deaths track closely with spikes in covid deaths.    But feel free to share some more anecdotes that you have.

Not all of the most at risk died during the first 2 rounds because many of them were able to avoid catching it all.   Not really the case with Omicron.

Delta was a mutation that was more deadly, and the data was pretty clear that the vaccines were effective during Delta.  The oldest age groups had by far the most deaths in 2020, but in 2021 it was actually worse in the middle-aged groups that were less vaccinated.

He's too stupid to understand virology 101. A virus mutates in order to survive. Thus it gets weaker. He believes the COMPLETELY failed and useless jabs were the savior when what you said is actually true along with the fact that as it weakness it can no longer kill as it once did. It was a bad virus at the start, it weakened and the deaths dropped at the same time they were scaring people into taking the jab, thus making it appear the jabs were saving people. We now know that they did no such thing.

Again, you're not factoring in the fact that for it to kill the most compromised, they have to catch it first.  But after "the first 2 rounds," there was probably still about half the country that hadn't caught it at all.  At this point, it's true that there aren't as many to kill, but that was only after Omicron swept through and now almost everyone has probably had it.  And although Omicron may have been weaker, it was far more contagious which is why there was still a death spike in January 2022.

But if all the most compromised died first, then the deaths should have gradually decreased proportionately, but that wasn't even close to happening, as some of the middle-aged groups actually had more deaths during Delta than the earlier waves whereas the oldest groups had less.  Still, there are many studies showing that the vaccines were extremely effective against death during Delta (not as many for Omicron but there are a few that I posted earlier).   But feel free to continue denying the data, Mr. Most Centrist poster here.

They all look like real on-air collapses during news broadcasts .... but the thing is that I'd not been aware of a single one of those instances. By way of contrast look at the amount of coverage generated with the bald soccer quasi-gay-but-not-really guy died. I was wondering if it may be a collage of footage of actors pretending to be journalists.
