First of all, Tamir Rice never even got the opportunity to point his toy gun at the police, he was shot and killed too quickly. 

Speaking of trespassing, no one was shot and killed for trespassing at the Capitol despite complete police presence.

I have only been called twice, went in thinking I'd just be dismissed.  Was called both times in the selection pool.  Was chosen both times, was the foreman on the last.  So weird.   One a drug case the other murder.

ETA:  I will say this, it was extremely stressful.  You have the fate of a person's future in your hands and I found most all of the jury members I served with took it very seriously.

LOL at your ETA...cause I was just thinking I'm so NOT JEALOUS of you, because of how stressful that would be.  If I by some chance I end up being called to serve on a jury, I will, it's really the only duty the country asks of it's citizens to do.  But you said it, the thought of deciding someone's future, and trying to figure out in your mind what constitutes 'beyond a reasonable doubt, I'll be happy not ever having that responsibility.

Props to you for doing it and taking seriously enough for the responsibility to be stressful.  If I'm ever on trial for something I want someone like you as juror.

I was selected twice and had to come back a second day and sit in a room with the rest of the jury.   Both times they came in and said that we could go home because they settled for a lesser charge.   the second time during selection the defense asked who would be more likely to get their news from Fox then CNN.   A bunch of us raised our hands.  I though I was out.  Then it came to me and they both said "No objection".

Agree, but wasn't all he accused of basically loitering in a house that was under construction?   Not really comparable IMO to a lot of the other people that there end up being protests for after they get killed

Just tell it like it was.  When you lie and say the kid is just jogging and everyone knows it's b.s., you come off as shady and not believable.  It makes it harder to get a conviction.  I'm fine with the douchebags going to prison, they were absurd, but they're making this out to be a pure racism case based on the fact that the kid was black.  Now, if they can prove a history of these guys being racist, then do it.  Otherwise, don't paint the kid as a complete victim who was just minding his own business.  As @RLLD said, it's not like the kid wasn't doing something shady... not worthy of being killed, but let's just call it what it was.

Well, you're ignoring that they chased him for 7 minutes in their trucks, followed him into a ditch and when he tried to run out of the development they prevented him with their trucks AND they actually hit him with their truck. He then tried to take the gun to prevent from being shot. I mean, why would a person get out from their car with a gun???? You all are RACIST jerks who hate blacks so much you cannot even feel any sympathy for someone who is being chased down. 

Furthermore, the person who was filmed at night was not the same person as Arbery. That was a completely different person. People walked in and out of there all the time. IDGAF what you all say, it's not a death penalty crime to walk inside a frame of a house with no doors and not signs that says no tresspassing private property.  I've done it many many times as I was looking to buy homes. He didn't steal anything, he was looking around. I don't respect any of you. 3 outta the last 5 girls I’ve dated have been black and it’s always a cousin or something I just shine it on. All my black friends are fricken awesome. And all the girls parents have been cool AF. I get along with everyone anyways. It’s not a big deal to me. Nothing offends me. besides I can take it

yep, the same experiences I have had with all my black friends, Peenie, I grew up in a very mixed area, I lived in Compton and Inglewood at times in my life.  I was the only white dude on a bus going to jail with all black dudes, I fit in anywhere.
