That's what I thought. You can't separate the facts-based reporting from the infotainment. Fox does decent news coverage, and I don't dismiss it because Cucker is a ratings prostitute who panders to his audience.

no its just when I hear a story from them I go and do my own reading on it, I will never take their word for anything, and then I will form my own opinion after reading from multiple sources

At least Carlson would have come into power and left things as they were under Trump's policies and we would have a closed border and be energy independent. So no fentanyl flowing steadily through the border, meaning 10's of thousands of lives saved, inflation not nearly as bad as it is if not at all, no gas price increases, no massive spending on garbage things the public will never even know about, the stock market would be cruising along with public confidence and as everyone already knew, once Fauci released his hold of the public and allowed businesses to open up again, all the same jobs that were there before would open up again. 

Hell, maybe Carlson would have been smart enough to stop sending out checks to lazy people who had every option to work but didn't because of Biden's sending tax payer money to the lazy's.  

So he could have been president and done nothing and the whole country would be MUCH better off than it is today under Biden.

President Trump would not pick Ron DeSantis as his running mate because they are from the same state. Now ,it's not impossible to have the two from the same state but the Constitution makes that a difficult trick to pull off. The problem is that once Florida's electoral college delegates cast their vote for a Floridian as President, they would then  be barred from voting for another Floridian as vice-president.

If running for vice president on a Trump ticket, Ron DeSantis would either need 172 electoral votes from states other than Florida, or else he'd need the House of Representatives to install him as vice president. 

The safest/smartest/easiest way to stay on the right side of the Constitution for President Trump, like has been done with everybody else who has ever won a major party endorsement,  would be to simply find somebody from one of the other 49 states to be his running mate. Easy Peasy.

Yes, it's the same all over. The President and Vice President run on the same ticket, it's a two-fer-one deal. I'm talking about the electoral college.

Florida electors can choose either the President or the Vice president, but not both.

It's never been a big deal and it's a problem easily avoided by the presidential candidate choosing a vice president from a different state. It does mean that now that he's a Florida resident, it'd be d@mn fooling for President Trump to pick DeSantis as his running mate.
