There are people on the left that are "good with it" because they don't agree that it's grooming and pedophile behavior.   I got into a similar conversation about the dumb movie that the people on the right like the OP obsess about -Cuties.   Just like them, I haven't seen it, but because I made comments on the order that: 1.  my understanding is that it was largely based on the screenwriter's life, and 2.  are people equally upset by the outfits and dances IRL that are out there (like the one on display from the MS squad at my kid's basketball game) - that is all it take to also be labeled a groomer, or at the very least encouraging it.      Also, nevermind that there is was a movie on HBOmax that featured a naked and sexualized minor (Olvia D'Abo in Bolero) but you don't hear a peep about that, and people aren't quitting HBO over it.   So there is 0 uniform application of the outrage and it makes people look really uninformed and largely just being upset by whatever Outrage Du Jour that is popular on Social Media.    Basically it's just a game to make people they disagree with and don't vote like them to look as evil and horrible as possible.
