Morgan Wallen...He gone!!!

Recommended Posts

Canceled I'm sure.  Dumba$$ dropped the N word and caught on tape.  He had some good songs.  If he's lucky, he gets the Kyle Larson treatment.

He should probably get a pass seeing as it's black history month and he was likely just trying to be culturally appropriate.

Last month he did a show & livestream from the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
Most of the tix were for industry folks- the remainder went out thru his fan club.
Thought most of the music was meh.

My biggest observation- Country Music audiences certainly brings out some hotties.

I'd be okay with it if the cancel most of the new country.

Country radio is a tough listen sometimes.  I do like a few of the "Bro Country" songs.  Some of Wallens stuff was good, Up Down especially.  Some FLA/GA line is tolerable.  I can't do Thomas Rhett, and the like. On Spotify, my country Playlist doesn't have a ton of stuff after 2000ish.

My Pillow sales are way up too, despite being kicked out of major retailers.  Nice work libtards.

Either hot as hell. Or pretty fugly. Doesn't really seem to be an in the middle at a country concert.

I like FLA/GA, most of it I don't care for though and they all try to put on the fake accent and all sound alike. I love old country like Waylon, George Jones and etc. 90's country was good as well.

Record Sales up 102%. Lol. Wordz.

Not surprising.  When one side tries to cancel something, the other side shows up to support it.

Looks like the NFL was boycotted by some. That’s not cancelled. This guy got let go by his record company and others.

I don't see the two as being all that different.

No one took away the NFL’s ability to work. It’s completely different.

The right canceled Kaepernick.  Teams would have given him a chance to play if they weren't afraid of the negative response from conservative fans.  Kaepernick didn't do himself any favors either though.  Trump himself has even been guilty of cancel culture.  He told people not to buy Goodyear tires.  Think of all the times Trump has called for firing of people in the media and his supporters calling for the same.  Trump promoted the boycott of Macy's as well.  Let's not forget about the USPS too.

Both sides are guilty of it.  If you want to argue over which one is more guilty of it, go right ahead.

Wasn’t Kaepernick offered a contract by the Broncos after he was released?

They may have.  There were other teams that could have used him but were not willing to put up with the mess though.  I'm not defending Kaepernick on this one because he made his own bed.  I just think that teams based their decisions heavily on the backlash from the public, most of who were conservatives.  There were a lot of fans who said they would never support their favorite team again if they signed Kaepernick.  I don't see how that's any different than people not supporting a record label if they keep a musician.

Time line- Kaepernick benched, knows he’s gone as soon as the salary cap hit isn’t that bad, decided then to start kneeling. Released at end of season. Offered contract, he wants more money, starter money. He’s not a starter anymore, refuses to budge. Not canceled.
