Henry Ruggs charged with DUI resulting in the death of another person.

127 mph when his airbags deployed.  Good ad for Corvette safety I guess. :dunno:

Gruden should feel ashamed of himself forcing Ruggs into this type of self loathing careless lifestyle by using the words he chose to use.

Gruden should pay for this death and the deaths of all people killed by black people.

You laugh, but lets just wait for the morons at MSDNC and CNN to weigh in before we joke about this....

This borders on "Can anyone give me a good reason why we allow people to have alcohol? Or 64 ounces of Coke or Pepsi?"

No it doesn't.  There's an actual limit, by law, on how fast you're legally allowed to travel.  No such law regulates how much, or of what, you can eat or drink.  Driving is a privilege, not a right.

To me it sounds more like, "why do we allow people to have things that they may make poor choices with down the line at some point?"

But either way it's human freedom of choice. Hell, you can get drunk and drive 40 mph and kill someone.

I'm fine with granting limits to things that aren't rights.  Limiting driving and the rules around them are fine by me because it isn't a right.  Sure, you could drive drunk going 40 mph, but it's highly unlikely.  There's plenty of data out there that backs up the notion that "speed kills".  It applies in sports, it applies in everyday life.  The fast something goes, the greater the impact when it comes to a sudden stop.

No.  Differences in speed kills more than speed itself.  I can safely drive 100 MPH if I'm on the open road with little traffic around me.  There's no reason I shouldn't.  Somehow the Germans have allowed people to drive at almost unlimited speeds safely forever.  Don't be a poosey.

Yup, let's pretend that the roads in the desert are the norm for the country... 100 MPH for everyone!!

https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1991-03-10-9101220255-story.html

"the average speed on autobahns, barring roadwork and traffic jams, hovers somewhere around 120-130 kilometers an hour, or roughly 78 m.p.h."

Those hell raisers!!!

Okay, let's use some logic here.  This particular tangent was stared when Edjr said:

No, they can't.

I don't know what you mean by "norm" but there are a lot of roads through the desert in this country.   Not to mention the rocky mountains where I live, that have large stretches of wide open road more than safe for high speed travel.  In either case, I've laid out a perfectly reasonable reason for cars to be able to go faster than 90 MPH.  One of many.

What you're saying is that the very minute exception to roadways in this country should be the justification of why ALL cars should be allowed to go over 90 mph?  Sorry, not buying.  Driving is a privilege.  It's not a right.

No.  I won.  It means I'm not going to get in to a pissing match with a retard after having won.

This morning Mike Florio said that Ruggs is young, he made a mistake and needs help.

Driving drunk is not a mistake it is a choice.

Driving over 150 MPH is not a mistake it is a choice.

I don’t know how anyone can defend this, I mean a woman burned to death.

Its called context.

Not to mention all the other families who've seen loved ones perish because of fat drunken wetbacks.

When you cried to the bartender and got those guys thrown out that led to that woman being killed who you cradled in your arms as her brain matter ooozed out on to your best flannel shirt, were those guys fat wetbacks?

I'm sorry, you're not even close to that story. But that makes sense seeing as how thst was like 19 aliases ago. Why you keep changing your alias?

Oh, you’re still going with the part where you cleared those ruffians out of the bar single handed? I think you crying to the bartender is more likely.

Wow. Bds

This is bds (and you are trying to copy a real disorder here? )?

Then, in the September 11 issue of The New York Times, after the newspaper had investigated on the ground, we learned that the drone hit on an ISIS terrorist bomber was, in fact, a total screw-up; the person hit was, in fact, not an ISIS operator but a respected 43-year-old Afghan working for an American aid enterprise who was loading water and food into his trunk to aid refugees. To make matters worse, as this honorable US ally was pulling up to his home, his kids — glad to see him! — rushed out to meet him. At that point, the Hellfire missile hit, leaving ten dead, seven of them children. And many wounded.
