Zzzzzzzzz

still nothing of significance in this Ukie counteroffensive.  Front lines have barely moved.  Ukraine's goal is to cut off the Crimea from the rest of Russia but nothing has happened.  Were about a month in now.

Q:  how do we determine the front has moved?

A:  there are two ways this is done.  1.  both Ukraine and Russia announce the same piece of land has changed hands.  2.  video is released that shows one of them bombing a piece of land that had been assumed to be under their control.   they cant be attacking their own land, so it must have changed hands.

It's not about progress right now. It's probing and decoy maneuvers. Have some patience, bro.

there is a real risk that if Ukraine cannot show progress soon, NATO countries will stop throwing money at it.  or the US voters will turn against supporting it more.  So patience really isn't an option.

No, you can bet that whatever the strategies Ukraine is using here have plenty of western intel and guidance. Must you look for a castrophe in everything. Give it some time, man. Russians have created some pretty insane defensive networks, and Urkaine isn't going to just rush in there. Russia isn't going to win this. I giggle at what one A10 Warthog would do to their defenses just focking around.

I really want a deal for peace. After what Biden and the left have done to our military I don’t think it is ready for actual large scale  combat. Leftards don’t realize that it’s not all about special forces when it’s a prolonged war.  It becomes about the rank and file.

Looks like this is just going to be a quagmire.

Ukraine is fighting for its homeland so they will never give up.  Russia will keep throwing bodies into the meat grinder.

Right now not even sure what a victory would be for Russia as they will never be able to control the entire population.  It could turn into a terrorist state on constant bombings and attacks against the occupiers.

Seems pretty obvious to me that Russia will get all of the Donbass.  People are just dying for no reason in the meantime.

Well I guess Ukraine will need to grow tired of burying people and some security guarantees before they cede that territory.

Isn't that area largely pro-Russian anyway? I wish Ukraine would just let go of the Donbass and Crimea in exchage for it joining NATA and reparations.

rumor is that the famed 92nd mechanized brigade of Ukraine just got disbanded. they were once very highly acclaimed, but most of the elite members are dead and they had to fill the ranks with old men to keep it going.  at some point, rumors are they revolted against Ukraine and were put down.  some members got reassigned but the unit is gone.  itll be interesting to see the truth come out to confirm / deny any of this in the weeks or months ahead but its being kept under wraps for now.

the only recent photos i found of the 92nd were of old, balding men in their 40s or 50s. note that Ukraine conscription is from 18-60 and many of the youth fled in february 2022 when 25% of the ukraine population went overseas instead of fighting russia.

We’re closing in on $100,000,000,000.00 of U.S. aid sent to Ukraine.  That’s 100 Billion. Meanwhile Zelensky has time to meet with Greta Thunberg to talk about how the war is impacting Climate Change.

Ukraine could have prevented the entire war and 100,000s dead and loss of $billions had they just ceded those to Russia before the war.

Oh, great another western left ideology that doesn't exist (climate change) and is all about money.  At this point, I'm rooting for Russia.

You were the one who mocked me when I questioned why they didn't use huge aircraft to transport tanks to Ukraine, and then I posted a picture of a tank being offloaded from a huge aircraft, Gen. Schwarzkopf. You probably think Deep State photoshopped the image to make everyone think that aircraft were transporting tanks to Eastern Europe.

IT'S A CONSPIRACY!

🤣

This does a good job explaining why the offensive has progressed slowly - mines and heavy Russian defenses. It also explains - like I said - that the main body of the offensive isn't in the game yet. You won't read it, of course.

This is true. We are providing logistical support via mainly the Globemaster (C17) but getting equipment/tanks from there to the front lines is the real problem. Both Russia and Ukraine can't get anything to the front, that's why it's moving very slowly. It's literally close range, hand to hand combat at this point.

Yeah and if it was 2003 and Bush was saying we need more time to find WMDs, youd be giving no such time.

This is where we really lose moral high ground. This and landmines. We try to tell the whole world what they can and cannot use and do and then we turn around and violate some of the most basic fundamental war crime issues.
