KSB2424 3,148 Posted November 22, 2022 America is giving another 4.5 BILLION to Ukraine today. We are an ocean away and have a population of 330 million. The EU announced they are giving 2.5 Billion. This is 27 Countries actually in Europe totaling 450 million people. Make it make sense.

Brad GLuckman 519 Posted November 30, 2022 100,000k Ukranian troops killed in Ukraine (assuming she meant troops instead of officers). This would oppose the narrative that Ukraine is suffering far less casualties than Russia. In fact, this would mean Ukraine is likely suffering more casualties. Wish we had more balanced reporting on this war. As much as Russia is accused of propaganda, Western media is pretty bad in its own right. Quote At the beginning of her address, von der Leyen said that Russia's invasion of Ukraine brought death, devastation and untold suffering, and that it was estimated that "over 20,000 civilians and 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers have died in Ukraine to date." However, later the text of von der Leyen's statement on the European Commission's website has been edited and published without data on casualties – neither among civilians nor among the military. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/30/7378601/ ETA:

I watched your video and was thoroughly unimpressed. First of all - the US, Germany, Britain and France never promised Gorbachev there'd be no NATO expansion. Even Gorbachev admitted that. The Russians were promised no deployment of NATO troops in certain areas until Soviet forces had withdrawn. That's it. https://www.brookings.edu/blog/up-front/2014/11/06/did-nato-promise-not-to-enlarge-gorbachev-says-no/ Regardless, NATO has never attacked anyone and posed no threat to Russia unless they illegally invaded. It's a defensive treaty. But Putin uses the supposed lie, and supposed threat, to justify annexing his neighbors. Your bozo speaker also says "Putin was pro-Europe when he first came to power." That's garbage. One of Putin's first acts in power was to restore the Soviet national anthem and then gave speeches about wanting to reclaim "Russia's sphere's of influence" - basically rebuild the empire. TBayXXXVII 2,559 Posted December 19, 2022 Russia is about 1.8 times the size of the US. Ukraine is about the size of Texas. A equal ratio would be the rest of the US vs Montana. If the rest of the US invaded Montana on February 24, 2023, when would the invasion be over? I'm thinking February 24th... maybe the 25th, depending on if the invasion started after 10 pm local time. So, my question is... how come this thing with Russia and Ukraine isn't over?

I don't know if $68 billion is justifiable ... either by reducing Russia's threat, getting an ally in the region, or just the right thing to do humanitarian wise. Maybe it is, maybe it ain't. I'll let politicians decide. But aside from the money, everyone has to admit it's been fun watching Russia get their heads kicked in and go from being a "great military power" to a laughing stock on the international stage. Not to mention 30+ years of international investment in Russia dry up in less than 30 days - which ain't never coming back. Seeing Putin forever cement his legacy as an evil dictator. Knowing future generations of Russians will be eating rotten potatoes. I love it.
