Pennsylvania? Yeah, they’re getting out too. You didn’t know that? Also, the Dutch retirement fund, one of the biggest in the world, is divesting. 15 BN euro coming out in 2023. They couldn’t t get Shell, a Dutch company, to commit to lowering their carbon emissions fast enough. Also Connecticut divesting. Looks like your 84 billion will be walking soon.  But that has no affect. Not at all.

Know what the sad part is? When all these woke activist investors have divested from oil, and the republicans take back power and open the oil spigot again, someone is going to invest. Guess who? My first guess is China. Hell, the Saudis might. So even when we win we’ll lose to our enemies. It’s going to be a sad day when our own oil is controlled by outsiders that hate us. You people have no idea what a classroom is like.  A friend if mine teaches biology.  She does an activity where they flip a coin to determine various traits.  The last flip is for gender.  2 heads is female..one head and one tail is male.  Kids start asking questions..what does the teacher do?  Teachers have to deal with everything that parents do not.  That load is growing every year.

Why would anyone want to become a teacher anymore.  The pay is not worth putting up with the students and parents anymore.

I'm not going to say there are no goofy things that happen in a classroom but people like Hardcore, Utilit99, Fireballer- couldn't handle being in a classroom dealing with the real issues that are going on in classrooms. It's way easier to just find context lacking videos online, or in the case of the two former ones- just saying stupid sh!t not rooted in reality.

You challenge people to fistfights over Internet disputes and can barely string together coherent thoughts. You have zero clue and you would never be able to manage in a classroom. It's okay to admit that. I could never be an EMT because I don't have the stomach for it. Difference is I don't try to pretend I'm an expert on all things EMT wise.

As far as teacher shortages, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. There’s one tried and true way to get people to take a job. Just lower the hiring standards. Works every time.

Yeah. In the age of information only the teachers have the answers. What’s the part I couldn’t handle? Following the lesson plan? I can do that. Keeping good order? I can for sure do that. Steer kids in the right direction? Been there, done that. Answer kids questions about sex? I won’t do that. You shouldn’t either.
