2019. Parts of NYC that were once fine have gotten worse. Like how Hells Kitchen is now full of homeless people. I know some of you drove through there to get to the tunnel a few years ago, but that’s not now. Plus the subways are a disaster. People living off the past need to pipe down . Things have changed. If you’re gonna be “street wise” as our resident clown/troll yaps about, maybe you need to walk the streets now, not in 2019. Y’all don’t know shite.

New York City is a wonderful unique city and it's an opportunity to live there. Crime is everywhere. Death is everywhere. People don't stop driving on the highway just because there are road fatalities. Live you life as safely as possible. Don't hide away from potential danger.

Jerry asked people familiar with NYC for some advice. Your advice sucks. So does some guys from Philadelphia who grew up in NJ and another one from NJ who never rode the subway once. And the best one is some guy who visited a few years ago from some hick town in the pacific north west. How about staying out of it if you weren’t asked? If I need to find out how to buy Pot in Philadelphia I’ll be sure to ask MDC. I think someone here told him how.

I don’t think so.She will be walking or public transportation.   So it’s best to stay out of the obvious areas that have become worse in the last few years. I have spent alot of time in NY City. I took the Subway whenever I moved around. In all my time there I did have one conflict with the locals that would have been ugly if not for bystanders. But I haven't been there in a few years and wouldn't pretend to know how safe it is today.  I know this, I would have had no problem walking riverside park at night 10 years ago. I would think twice about doing it today.

There was a big homeless problem in Riverside park. Not as bad now but they are still there.

I ride the subway everyday although just a few stops and every other car has homeless people sleeping on the seats. 
 

I don’t feel unsafe walking through Times Square and up 34th street to 7th Ave however I will say it’s a war zone of homeless and begging POS. Reason I say POS because it’s no longer “hey man can you spare some change” it’s now in your face “Gimme a ##### dollar !!!” Not a day goes by that this doesn’t happen to me. Scared ? No. Annoyed ? Hell yeah
