btw, I just got my hybrid Ford Maverick, I pre-ordered a year ago and locked in the price at 22,999 for the XLT.

I went to pick it up last week, and the dealership offered me 7500$ not to buy it.

then as I walked around the lot, they had one used one, with 800 miles on it and the sticker on it was 39,999

I drive 300 miles a day quite a bit, its the truck I wanted to run around town in, if you know why you know why

it rides good, I have been getting 43 mpg which is over what they said after 3 tanks (small sample size)

its comfortable and has some pretty fun little features

also it was definitely designed by a man as there is not much of a center console so plenty of room for road head

Yeah, that's a lot of miles a day. I would look to buy the same if I drove that much. I did drive a couple hybrids at different times when renting cars for work. First time I got in one I didn't know what the fock it was doing. Had to go look it up. 

Is it hard to find a mechanic that knows hybrids? I asked my mechanic once if he knows how to work on EVs and he mentioned that he hasn't gone down that road yet. Also, is your new car 4WD? 

I took a quick glance the hybrid Maverick and it mentioned that they start at $19,999. So completely bare bones.
