The parents are attempting to teach "tolerance" and to be accepting of all. That's the ONLY guess I have. Oh, that's just their culture. Actually most 1st graders would be 7 by now.

And ABC’s, count to 100 and spell their name is usually Kindergarten (or earlier).

Also it’s certainly possible this was just about drawing rainbows and “loving your family and friends” and not gays.

Ok I will play along.  Let’s say they were actually teaching them about gay people. I believe we were able to come to a consensus previously, that this alleged “grooming” is for future sexual abuse, correct?   You can certainly say kids that age shouldn’t be learning about gay people in school and I’d agree, but that’s a massive leap to call it grooming them for future sexual abuse.

Yeah, as I said earlier, pride (and rainbows) don’t always refer to LGBTQ+ people.  It’s certainly possible (likely even), that they just learned about rainbows and the word pride without it referring to gay people.

I remember learning about rainbows/spectrum and learning the ROY G BIV mnemonic to remember the colors.  I dont recall pink and light blue being part of that lesson.   Oh right, that part of the "rainbow" is for trans people.
