Bert 1,129 Posted December 17, 2022 Like These young focks like use the word all the time. It's like they have to say it a couple of times in every sentence or they will like die. There was a women running a meeting today that was addicted to the word like. To make it worse the crazy biotch could not get her phrases/clichés correct. I would like to say right out of the bat.....
easilyscan 1,068 Posted December 17, 2022 Outbreak: Stormchasers on YouTube like Reed Timmer use that word far too often. Sure, there were a few tornadoes in Louisiana the other day, but it wasn't a focking outbreak. Underserved: As in, we need to increase corona vaccinations in underserved communities. Disproportionate. See above And the worst: Viral

People who can't get their idioms straight. You see it most frequently with black sportscasters. "He's got a chip on his nose!" Shannon Sharpe is notorious for this crap. It's an outstanding example over-sensationalizing everything nowadays. Here's some 'real outbreaks' May 24-26, 2011: 186 tornadoes, 4 of which were violent (EF4/EF5) Super Tuesday Outbreak Feb. 5-6, 2008 86 tornadoes, 10 states May 22, 2011: 48 tornadoes, including Joplin EF5 Oklahoma City Metro (Moore) (May 3, 1999) Record Oklahoma tornado outbreak: 61 tornadoes Palm Sunday Outbreak (April 11-12, 1965) Only 52 tornadoes in 7 states, but 22 were violent tornadoes (F4/F5) 260 killed, 3442 injured April 3-4, 1974 "Superoutbreak" 148 tornadoes in 13 states and Canada 30 "violent tornadoes", including six rated F5 307 killed, 5454 injured

Corollary to this one because it's the same d-bags doing it. People who keep asking you "right?" as they're answering a question or being interviewed. I don't know, motherfocker, that's why I asked you. this made me think of people who constantly say "you know?" while telling a story. "we were at he bar, you know? and John orders a round of shots you know?" no, i don't focking know, that's why you're telling the story. there is also the other end of the spectrum where people assume you know everyone they are talking about. "I went to the mall yesterday with Jennifer (no idea who Jennifer is), and she brought Jack with her." and the story goes on and on..... Jennifer turns out to be her cousin and Jack is a dog and only finding out after being extremely confused when Jack pees on the floor.
