These young focks like use the word all the time.  It's like they have to say it a couple of times in every sentence or they will like die.  

 

There was a women running a meeting today that was addicted to the word like.  To make it worse the crazy biotch could not get her phrases/clichés correct.  I would like to say right out of the bat.....

I was thinking about a whole new thread on this. People who can't get their idioms straight. You see it most frequently with black sportscasters. "He's got a chip on his nose!"

The vast majority of those were very weak and short-lived.  It's an outstanding example over-sensationalizing everything nowadays.

this made me think of people who constantly say "you know?" while telling a story.  "we were at he bar, you know? and John orders a round of shots you know?"  no, i don't focking know, that's why you're telling the story.

 

there is also the other end of the spectrum where people assume you know everyone they are talking about.  "I went to the mall yesterday with Jennifer (no idea who Jennifer is), and she brought Jack with her."  and the story goes on and on..... Jennifer turns out to be her cousin and Jack is a dog and only finding out after being extremely confused when Jack pees on the floor.
