Litigation- that is what changed a bunch of things and why teachers don't get involved.

 

Legally- and technically- I'm not allowed to jump in to pull two kids apart that are fighting unless I feel that one kid's life is in jeopardy. Basically- two kids are fighting and one has the guy in a chokehold and the kid is turning blue and stuff. Then I can physically separate them without fear of reprisal of any kind. There are people in the school who have the ability to pull apart students in a legal sense.

Actually I agree with you on that point. But since his post was of the “what a moron you are for even having such an opinion” variety, I felt like it was important to point out that many people feel the same. Of course numbers doesn’t make us more correct; I suppose we could ALL be morons.
