The 'dirty little secret' of climate religion

Recommended Posts

Smart guy..  Sounds like he's been reading my posts about nuclear.  And @MTSkiBum's posts.

Last time I checked, it was global climate change, and also it's hostile to nuclear energy, which is truly bizarre because that's the best form of carbon-free energy production known to mankind. The problem for them is that nuclear energy might be too good at solving their alleged problem.

I have been harping on nuclear energy as the solution to global warming fir 30 years.  It has been obvious from the ignorant non-solutions offered by the global warming cartel that all they cared about is power and money.  This is not rocket science and yet the top scientific minds could never mouth what the Captain Obvious solution was.  They can write thousands of papers on everything else, but uttering the words nuclear energy was impossible.

If those "top scientific minds" thought there was truly something dangerous about this "climate problem", then they would have taken a completely different approach to "fixing it" long ago.

They all know it's BS and they will keep pushing that fake narrative as long as the dumbass liberal sheep keep lapping it up and giving them money and attention.

People who spend time thinking about global warming are idiots. Either side, whether you believe it or not. You probably don't have any education in climate change and no one changes their lifestyle to fit their beliefs anyway, so basically it's all just a bunch of bullsh!t and a waste of headspace.

"Fish kills like this are common in the summer when temperatures increase. If there isn't enough oxygen in the water, fish can't 'breathe.' Low dissolved oxygen in many cases is a natural occurrence," the department said in a statement.

100% fake news 😞

Open the page, scroll down and look at the pile of fish.

That was at my beach and I was at that beach fishing 4 different times in the week leading up to it. The fish did not die because of the hot water. We get hotter water in July/August, and the week leading up to the fish kill was not that warm. It was in the mid 80's which is kind of cool for mid June in Texas.

We had 7 days in a row without any waves. The waves breaking is what adds oxygen into the water for the coastal fish.

There is an utterly ridiculous amount of fish that live within 100 feet of shore in Texas. Those dead fish represent just a tiny fraction of the fish that live on the Texas shore.

I wish journalists had more integrity in there reporting.

Most sites do at least go over the real issues that caused the fish kill though. The fishing was really terrible during the later half of the calm weather.  For what it is worth I have never seen weather as calm as what it was during that 2 week stretch.  @porkbutt could confirm as a fellow offshore fisherman how crazy our wave conditions were. We had ~10 day straight where the waves were 1 foot at 8 seconds from shore all the way out 100 miles.

Another problem was that seas near county beaches were quite calm over the past few weeks, meaning there were few waves and winds to help redistribute oxygen in the water.

Over the past few days, the skies above the the beaches were cloudy. That is an issue for phytoplankton, which help produce oxygen in the water by using photosynthesis. That process is driven by sunlight. So, the less they are exposed to the sun by way of overcast, the less oxygen phytoplankton produce.

Texas suffers under brutal, early heat wave. Experts say climate change is fueling it.

The brutal, record-smashing heat wave that's scorching northern Mexico and the south-central U.S., especially Texas, has a connection to human-caused climate change, experts said this week.

What are you Texans doing to your climate down there?

The problem is that it is a clickbait headline. They get paid per click, they do not get paid to present facts. A heat wave story gets more clicks when you tag climate chang on the end of the headline.

USA today is a tragedy, it was one of my favorite news sites and was easily one of my 10 most visited internet sites but started going downhill around 10 years ago and fell off the cliff completely around 5 years ago. I never go to the site anymore.

Just spent a week in Orlando. Focking weather was unreal. Every DAMN day.  High winds, then rain, then thunderstorms. EVERY DAMN DAY. Sometimes several times a day. NEVER going back in June ever again

It's not there fault. They may or may not believe it. The problem is management in the media push their writers to generate clicks over providing facts.

I don't know if there is a solution to the issue.

I lived in St. Pete for 3 years. That time of year, every damn day. Massive downpour, heavy thunder and lightning, then it's all dried up and hot and humid two hours later. It's more accurate than a clock.

They'll probably say it's white supremacists causing global warming with their gas stoves, gas lawn mowers and trucks.

Good point.  Guess they'll be holding on to that for election time next year.
