Tell me you don't know how social media works.   And stop with the stupid game of 20 questions.  It's like we have to explain why water is wet every day to you idiots.  But, here it goes:

It wouldn't be called "social" media if media were limited to a single persons account.  Why did they choose Mulvaney - because he's one of the most popular fagggots out there with 10 million followers on tic tok alone.  The campaign plan included the fact that it would get reposted and shared across the platforms.  It relied on it. They even had a contest to win 15K where other people re-posted pictures of themselves with beer like Mulvaney.  THAT'S HOW SOCIAL MEDIA WORKS.  And there is no magic button to push that says only people that would agree with the tranny movement can participate.  It was a calculated error that social media, and society in general would weigh Mulvaney as a net positive.  The verdict is in and we don't.  That error is why the marketing director that made the decision got canned.

So to answer your question, yes I found out about it from a social media post that resulted directly from this marketing campaign, the one in the first post of this thread.

Cheers. Someone should limit their use of question marks.

You MUST use the language!!!

These clowns don’t realize how much less ridicule they would get if they said “hey, we’re different. We aren’t men, and we aren’t women, and we’re not going to try to make people call us that”.
Unfortunately, the narcissism wins out and you must affirm them.

Bud Light just showed a commercial on ESPN during the draft.  Country western theme/music, men were men, women were women.  Seems like they are moving on from that experiment.

They didn't mess with it at all. People are acting like it is similar to New Coke, like they have changed the formula to give it a trans flavor.

yes the left messed with the beer.

the running theory regarding the woke injecting their strange politics into sports was that a lot of people want sports to be about entertainment and an escape.  i think to some degree the democrats lost people by doing things like adding political phrases to football fields and jerseys and kneeling, but it wasn't QUITE big enough.

but now the left messed with beer.  they injected politics into bud light with a political figure and its strange woke politics plastered on the cans.  now they cant even escape politics when drinking beer ... unless they stop buying bud light.  THAT seems to have been a red line.  now woke and democrats get branded as evil going forward.  Its pretty clear.  I think it very well can be the dukakis in a tank moment.

I agree that having the post shared was the point of the campaign.  But I bet if the post wasn’t made a few days after the Nashville school shooting, when being anti-trans was at the height of its popularity, all these righties wouldn’t have cared.  So the marketing team’s mistake wasn’t necessarily hiring Mulvaney in the first place, but they should have paused the campaign after the Nashville shooting because the timing was awful.

Saw the new Bud Light commercial.  It begins with the camera focused on the blue jeans shorts covered ass of a woman.  The camera follows her ass for a few seconds as she walks up to a group of folks at some festival or fair, in the rain.  Women's groups might point out the misogyny.  They might protest next.  Trannies might feel abandoned.  Men, well they probably wish the ass was higher and tighter and the shorts shorter and the blouse she was wearing more transparent as they next doused her and another chick with rain.

For Bud Light's next attempt they should buy the Salma hayek strippeer scene from Dusk to dawn.  They should digitally input salma pouring a bud light down her body and Quinten Tarrantino driniking the pour off her foot.  Then cut to him spitting it out saying damn, taste like stripper sweat and and feet.  Then cut to someone else drinking one who says, yeay, and tahts even before she pours it out over her body.

You said they’re “moving on,” but in all likelihood that was going to be their TV commercial anyway.  It usually takes longer than 2-3 weeks to develop a commercial.

You draw a lot of false conclusions from my posts.  I never said they made that commercial specifically in response to the Mulvaney disaster.  Could be they had it planned already, could be they looked in their arsenal and picked one of the most 'Murca commercials they had.

I thought by saying “they were moving on,” you thought it had something to do with Mulvaney.  If that wasn’t your intention, I apologize.

I did mean they were moving on from Mulvaney.  That doesn't mean they made a commercial specifically to do it; they could have used an existing one.  Get it?  Just take the L and move on.

You commented in response to a non-tranny commercial that they’re moving on from Mulvaney, but say they didn’t make a commercial specifically to move on from Mulvaney.  Got it, clear as mud.  What was the point of your post again then?  I was trying to apologize but now it kinda seems like I was right about what you were implying.

Dylan might drink Bud Light but the only way he would use a tampon is for makeup removal.

Bud has been making patriotic commercials for many decades.  Why would you assume they'd have to make a NEW one if they wanted to revisit that style of marketing?   Honestly, that's just not something Jerry should have to specify when making the comment he did.  You have a habit of focusing on these little tangential details that you think are "gotchas" but really don't even matter.

Whether or not the commercial is new is only a minor point of the discussion (what were you saying about little tangential details?).  What I was commenting on originally was that Mulvaney was never on TV, so there wasn’t really anything to “move on” from to begin with in terms of TV advertising.

You are stuck on the falsehood that "moving on" requires a brand new commercial.  There is this concept where a company uses a commercial they've already made.  I don't know and I don't care; my point was they played a very 'Murca commercial aimed at manly men.

We've reached your yip yip dog phase where you are just going to keep nipping at me until you find something to grab onto.  I don't have time for this, so once again, congrats, you win.

AB has already stated about spending huge amounts to overcome their campaign mistake.

They will go back to who butters their bread.   #1 rule of sales is Know your consumers and cater to them.  Catering to a niche market will not increase sales.

I didn't get wishy washy; you made the incorrect conclusion that I wasn't talking about Mulvaney.  My mistake was correcting you and expecting you to be introspective and realize you made a bunch of wrong assumptions, but as I said, you'll keep doubling down on it.

I predict your response will be somewhere along the line of "but they didn't make a Mulvaney commercial."  :(
