Now the only way kids learn this is either from their parents, and dont get me started on the quality of parenting, or by trial and error. So we now have a couple generations of kids who think the world is just evil and wrong because life is not falling into their lap. And they are mad....when they should be pissed at their parents for failing them, in every possible way.

So much more convenient using my credit card and then using those points we build up to buy Christmas presents or pay for flights.

We are near or at a trillion in CC debt because everyone is paying off their nut each month. But thanks for the insight.
Ultra Max Power 214 Posted June 15, 2023 Real wages in America under Joe Biden were down again in May. Americans have seen their wages decrease by 2.7% under Joe Biden. And real wages adjusted for inflation are down for the 26th straight month under Joe Biden – a new American record. With May’s numbers, this is the 26th straight month of negative real earnings. This stretch is twice as long as the Global Financial Crisis and represents 93% of Biden’s tenure. ZeroHedge
The Real timschochet 6,421 Posted June 15, 2023 During the Trump years I was very angry at my fellow liberals for celebrating when there were problems with the economy. (I also defended Trump based on my principle that no President should reasonably be either credited or blamed for economic activity that takes place during their term in office but only a few years later, but that’s a different argument.) I just don’t understand why people seem to root for bad things to happen in order to achieve a political outcome.

As of March 1, 2023, the Biden administration passed 513 regulations with 339 regulations still in the pipeline. A number of these regulations are the reason gas prices are so high. And yes, it is supply and demand.

Well it’s true that that’s “what happened,” in particular making gas cheaper and unemployment higher initially, and what ultimately started the inflation once everything opened back up (although Biden made it worse)
thegeneral 2,909 Posted July 11, 2023 This is good news Sliding costs of second-hand vehicles will help the Federal Reserve's fight to rein in consumer prices, and could see the headline inflation number for June come in below 3%, according to some analysts. That would be the first such reading since March 2021
