🇺🇸Father Trump Talk-🚨The Official Thread of the Week Magaverse🚨 👀 the Donald/Elon beef has gone nuclear

Clownzo is what our lawmakers had in mind when they created the 14th amendment. A psychopath and criminal traitor has no right to run for president, not to mention him twice-impeached. Worst example of an American ever.

Donald Trump, who’s already been President before and life was pretty cool, is a THREAT TO DEMOCRACY if elected again.  Meanwhile Colorado actually threatens real  Democracy and the peanut gallery can’t see the forest for the trees. Zero principles, only grandstanding.

Any law abiding grown American R, L or D worth their salt will condemn this politically motivated ruling. Put principles over politics if you have an ounce of a backbone.

Yeah. And the liberal's pelosi and creepy joe both called Trump a xenophobe for wanting to lock down the border to people coming in from the source country of the chinese flu to keep from spreading it here.

pelosi brilliantly led a march to chinatown in to "support" the businesses there. All the while spreading the flu in mass.

Again, liberals fault. Your shlt voting decisions and your TDS helped bring stuff like that on.

Things were so much better when Trump was president. 2017-2019 were three of the great years in our countries history.

All you MAGAturds can stop crying.  This is going to the supreme Court and Clownzo owns them so they will do his bidding and reverse the decision.

"Crying"? It's a celebration of the greatest president this country has ever had.

You all liberals love your pedos, the conservatives love the US as it was meant to be.

No respect for the courts decisions now. Only when it goes your way.

I oppose Trump.  That said I find the dissent of Justice Samour to be well reasoned and I believe it will be essentially the ruling we will see from the Suopreme Court when they take up the question of whether Trump should be included on the Colorado ballot. I appeared be Judge Samour many, many times.  I always found him to be inciteful and well reasoned.

I wouldn't vote for it for my state.... but there is the issue of States Rights. Coloradans have a right to that.

To point 5. That he was no longer Prez was the excuse for Mitch and Co not to convict him in the Senate. They kicked the can down the road there because they assumed this was the end. Bad assumption!

I hope Trump the Benevolent becomes Trump the Vengeful in January 2025.  All that have conspired to thwart the will of the people and taint our elections need to be held accountable.

Yes. I don’t care if one piece of legislation or one budget gets passed. Gut and cut what he can. Start with the FBI.

So if Patriots vote overwhelmingly for Father Trump as a write In candidate, what will Colorado do?

Guessing those votes would not be counted, the high court ruled him ineligible to be president. Pretty much the same if you wrote in Mickey Mouse.

I applaud the right to ask the Supreme Court to take this up in the hopes of coming up with a decision.

If you despise Donald Trump, but love America this should still bother you.  They keep telling you Trump is a “threat to democracy” yet this is actually played out in real time right in front of your eyes.  And you turn away.  Because you choose party over principle.  Own it.

This pretty much represents how I feel. I despise Trump, but people should have the right to vote for him. I really don’t like this.

I also believe Trump when he says he’s never read Mein Kampf, despite the claims of his first wife. I strongly doubt Donald Trump has ever read anything in his life  that was longer than a few pages.

I think the constitution says each state can run the elections as they see fit, so determining who is eligible to be on the ballot would be part of the job.

Of course we have never had this specific set of circumstances occur before(AFAIK), so it's not like we can look to precedent.

I think DQ'ing somebody from the ballot because you decided he was guilty of a crime he hasn't even been charged with, let alone convicted of, would be problematic. But who knows at this point?

Not quite sure about this. Wasn’t this question what the Bush vs Gore decision was all about? Of course that was a 5-4 decision so apparently the SC isn’t quite sure about it either.

It might have been, their were quite a bit of different issues that were brought up during in those couple of weeks. I think it ended up being an "equal protection" that decided the case.

Just another reason, I truly believe Jefferson had it right when he stated(suggested) that the Constitution should be revisited every 50 years or so, to remain, be updated or rewritten and ratified.

I've only read the decision once at this point.  I will need to read it at least two more times to get the full import of each position.  I will need to read some of the cases cited as well.  Some for the first time.

the states do not have the right to INTERPRET the constitution based on their political views

the 14th amendment they are using is for appointments not elected officials

also they are sighting a crime that has never been charged
