I agree 100%.  That's why I think it's so ridiculous when folks here and elsewhere argue the extremes apply to all.  Like all conservatives are racist.  Or all liberals don't know what makes a man or woman.

My daughter is liberal and looking for a man (no, none of you can have her). She's also a high-powered, type-A, assertive person. A "conservative" on a profile is a no-go for her.  So the last guy she met had two cats, because she has two cats$#@!  Surprisingly not surprisingly, he was a dud.  A limp-wristed cat hugger will instantly wilt under sheer force of will which is her personality, and run off to their safe spaces.  Several have.  

She doesn't realize yet (although I think that she is getting there) that she needs a very strong man, one that won't take her shiot and will tell her when she is full of it.  One that, when she says "we're going to do such and such," he occasionally responds, "no we aren't."  She'll get there, I think.  

Now, you are going to tell me that there are plenty of liberals who fit this description, and I'm going to tell you that I think that such a man is a unicorn.  I have three children in their 20s with lots of friends and as such I have gotten to know LOTS of men from this generation, and the ones who are liberal have all been duds.
